Lol go watch the 2016 Chinese Nationals, it's honestly more competitive than the World Championship because the top 2 chinese lifters in each class from 56-85kg can all win gold. Can you imagine being stronger than all the international competition but not even being sent in the first place? This is most apparent in the 69kg class cuz Liao Hui is amazing, but in 2015 his backup Shi Zhiyong went to the world championships in his place and destroyed everybody.

No. I heard it from somewhere. It was ilya's comeback performance after they stopped paying him for not training. They were not in the same competition but still competing. He was in 105's also because they didn't want him to lose strength so quickly with the fast weight loss so close to worlds.

Actually, Ilya is competing in the 105's and Sedov is 94 They spliced the footage together. Ilya and sedov matched totals that day, but ilya hurt his elbow not long after this.

hree time world champion two time olympic champion! He made three world records at three different categories. First record he made at only 17 years just best just titan! All Kazakhstan knows that you earned all your medals with your own power. He passed all doping tests before olympic and all was clean after eight years they found doping really? It s not doping its just politics! If he competed to rio He easily would get gold so they dont want that! Iliya you are the real champ you are the living legend
