Oh, and another thing, since you’re in Australia, you should look up Gregory Stockhill, he’s the AMC guru out in Australia. He has a lot of parts, and knows were to find a lot of parts as well for AMC’s. Also, I applaud you for sticking with AMC power especially you being in Australia, where parts are even more scarce compared to where I’m at in South Florida, USA.

Renault had a 51% share in amc and Jeep and then sold to Chrysler who cut it up and took jeep with them. I have a Hudson so amc stuff interests me given its what Hudson turned into, would love to put a 390 in my car when i turn it into a hot rod, but there's not much availability of motors in Australia at a reasonable price.

If you’re getting the block decked, I hope you checked all 4 corners as most blocks are not decked square from factory.

It's great to see you mixing up your content formats. These older, rarer cars aren't really my thing, but I'm still really interested in understanding the restoration process. Did you know that the greenhouse gases produced in the manufacture of one new electric vehicle are the same as running your old petrol/diesel car for another 90,000km? All AMC V8’s were the same exterior wise from 66-91 which they were the 290,304,343,360,390 and 401

Hey Mark, really liked this one, ive got an amc hornet & amc jeep. I put a fuel injection kit on the jeep but not running great, do you know someone whos good with settings on efi kits?
