The multiverse/alternative realities and universes exists, everything thinkable is real somewhere, somewhen, somehow, so the One Piece universe exists as well. I firmly believe that Oda has switched universes via Devil Fruit and just tells the story he was part of. He probably _is_ Usopp.

Man... When you're watching this and don't know what's going on, I can absolutely see why someone would be all in to get started on One Piece. But as someone who does know what's happening, I nearly cried tears of joy when I saw those clips of Luffy on his adventures while a certain someone is talking about what will happen when someone finds the One Piece. Luffy's going to bring the dawn of a whole new era for this world and I am so ready for it. And if you know, you know.

The fact that the people that are caught up are all busy re-reading the entire series to see what we missed ... yeah ... you almost can't spoil One Piece. It's too big. There's some key "Snape Kills Dumbledore" type stuff, but honestly I think the weight of those things is overplayed. It doesn't *ruin* the story to know those specific beats.

Subscribed because I am SO excited for you to continue!! This show isn’t just a show, it’s one of the most incredible experiences you will ever have, on par with traveling the world. One piece will change you and touch your soul in ways you’re not prepared for, no matter how hard you try. I’ve never felt so connected to characters, a world and a story as masterfully written as One Piece…Not to get to deep but this stuff has literally gotten me through some dark times in my life…it can have you laughing til your belly aches, crying loud sobs and tears straight from your soul, falling out of your chair and then getting back up to slam a table while cheering for joy-all in the span of a few minutes in an episode…it sounds like all those emotions cancel each other out or take away from one another, but trust me when I say this is the only series so far (and I’ve watched many popular ones) that pulls it off so well and leaves a huge mark on your heart forever. I cannot waiiiit to see your reactions!! You’ll def need an overlay like others said as well as strategically editing out certain parts, and you may have to talk over some parts more than usual to comply with fair use laws, but there are workarounds! And if you feel it’s hard to cut stuff out, if anything you can do what a lot of other reactors do and put the full uncut ones on Patreon :)

It’s been said countless times and countless ways but Oda the creator of One Piece is truly a god tier storyteller The character building Story building World building Lore building and everything is so intricate and so good it’s practically unrivaled. The series only gets better the longer it goes and the longer anyone watches. It almost becomes an experience unto itself

Keep in mind ALOT of the scenes depicted in the video are from episodes much later in the series. I know alot of people say its slow for a good while but thats the appeal. If you can get past that slow pace, your in for one hell of a journey.

I read a study once that showed people actually enjoy things more if they've been spoiled. I think it's because if you like what you saw you'll look forward to those moments more, and the promise of witnessing the events unfold makes it more satisfying. Vs coming in completely blind, which can lead to higher expectations. I've gotten into a lot of series after being spoiled and enjoyed it just the same.

The thing about One Piece's pacing, it's not just starting slow. Tempo of the whole anime is slow, but it's not really a bad thing. This pacing lets your brain to retain A LOT of information to the point where someone will reference or connect dots with something that happened hundreds of episodes ago and you WILL remember and understand pretty much everything.

Been reading manga & watching anime for 34 years. Now I'm 40 with 2 kids. No one manga/anime near One Piece in term of story. You'll be blown away with what you've got, known, learnt and experienced in real world will be manifested in One Piece. Actually, no story ever written as best as One Piece. Perhaps Lord of the Ring by J.R.R Tolkien come close. For me, Eiichiro Oda is still the best story teller for his greatness art work of One Piece.

watching one piece will be worth it, it might start a bit slow but it gets better and better overtime and it keeps going higher, 1000+ episodes and oda still continues his peak storytelling and has consistent power levels unlike other shounen animangas, and... advice: don't take it too seriously, it's a goofy but more importantly peak story... i kind of recommend the manga but only if u have the willpower to do that, ngl u shouldn't watch these videos but hey, u do you, cuz after watching a lot of these videos u will be able to put things together, the more context u have the more chance you will realize stuff before it gets revealed in the anime

I wish you well man I agree with everybody else it's absolutely the best If at times it feels slow I'm talking about when you're well into it or if there is a chunk of 5 or 10 episodes early on building up to something that are kind of boring Don't be afraid to put it on 1.25 or 1.5 Make sure to find the Filler episodes prior to starting too I accidentally watched a good hundred episodes more than I had to on 2× speed

You need to have some overlay on top of the anime screen to be able to post videos on KZbin otherwise it will get taken down. To really understand why One Piece is so great to watch completely and understand the depth of the story, the world building then you will really appreciate that One Piece is only one of its kind and why Oda is such a great writer. One Piece is jam packed with details and information.

Means that it was kinda geared toward kids until it got its audience30(ish) episodes in & Oda started to be able to make his own voice heard

If you start from episode 1 you won’t see much of power destruction from these characters and the animation was 20+ years ago. Old looking animation. The animation you see in these trailers are newer modern animation. Whats funny is its the only anime that you can be a kid and follow along and become an adult. 20+ years and the anime is still not finish. Maybe 75-80% of the way
