It is by far the best manga/anime to get you in your feels! Just to give you the scale of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece world's size, the entire breath of the Grand Line took the Straw Hats around 1 year to traverse the length of the Grand Line. That is half the One Piece world's ocean in length. On our Earth, the reality is it takes 40 to 70 days to sail the Pacific Ocean by sail boat. So the One Piece planet and ocean size is about 5 to 10 times larger than Earth. Or the Grand line is about 5 to 10 times larger in distance than the Pacific Ocean from Shanghai to LA/San Franciso.

You definitely have to watch it. It's 10/10 in characters, story, and world building. Getting a 10 in even one category is difficult enough.

Just so you know, One Piece can be INCREDIBLY depressing at times. You will *feel* the hurt that the characters go through. But it's worth it.

Seriously my favorite series, highly recommend watching it! So much depth in the story. My only problem with the anime over the manga is the anime is year round and so they stretch things and times that shouldn’t be. So it’s a great series but, especially later on, pacing can get bad.
