It’s because the fashion, hair, etc from when they were teens/young adults is what they still like to wear to this day, so we associate the hair and clothes with elderly people, hence thinking they look far older than they are. Also makeup, hair extensions, diet and exercise, filters, Botox, filler, etc weren’t things back then. Another example are the women that still have the voluminous bangs because they were young in the 80s so they still think that style looks best on them because associate it with their youth.

I tried to get into the Dark History series, but this (MMM) is my niche. I first heard of Bailey in my Ipsy Subscribers group. Then I received her eyeshadow palette in a Plus bag. Then I finally trekked over here to check out her broadcast. I haven't tried to mimic her makeup looks, but I like the eyeshadow primers Bailey uses. So at 65, I am still learning about makeup. :)

It's not that hard to post something in the youtube community tab and say, "Hey guys, I'm taking a break for a little bit and I'll be back at this point in time." I've come to realize that this is just her personality, because it's happened too many times, so I don't rely on her anymore. She's so inconsistent, so I only visit her channel once every few months.
