These machines actually are extremely easy to bypass the egress counter, vendors will tape over the sensor in the drop bay making the machine think it's paying out. Walmart in Carson City, NV has the same issue.

Arcades, if run properly and in areas of people with a medium to high socio-economic level, aka middle and lower upper class, can bring in a good amount of cash per month. If the average game is 50 cents per play, and a machine gets played 50 times a month, that's a good deal of capital made on one machine. Now I understand that maintaining machines and keeping them stocked costs money, but as stated in the video, buying items in bulk saves money, and in previous videos, he has stated that he knows how to repair and has repaired some faulty machines of his. Don't get me wrong however, he probably is getting some money from KZbin, which he most logically funnels into either new machines for his arcades, new locations for arcades, or new equipment for making videos. He could also use it for food, clothes, gas, or sustaining a good source of prizes. Buying a car with KZbin money would be highly illogical and just bad buisness sense. I apologize for the rant/ramble, but I do hope this cleared up any misconceptions about his money income and source of said income.

Claw machines remind me of when I was in college. There was this one machine in a nearby market I played and won a lot from. They stuffed it with small plush animals and could win one on almost every quarter used. 25 cent plays. Did it so much my mom used to take me there when she wanted some to give away and we'd leave with 10-15 each time. Probably the nicest machine I've ever played heh. Since then any others I played you couldn't win anything with.

These machines have two factors for dispensing the prize, first you obviously have to get the claw on the item correctly, the the other factor is programmatic, based on the setting set by the owner, he can set the machine to have arthritis until a specific amount of money/time/items in the machine. It seems this vendor has set the machine to the max or they use a hack by setting the value to zero, this will cause the machine to always let go, regardless if you have it perfectly in the claw. It's like stealing and they know it. I'm not racist, but if you happen to know the store is owned by Chinese or asians. Then don't go there, they are the biggest perpetrators of this crime. How do I know how these machines work, I wrote base code for these systems years ago. And they still use the same basic system.

Welcome to reality. Many claw machines today that lift boxes or stuffed animals release their grip slightly when at the top. When they do, anything weighing more than a feather will fall. It is done very subtly so you can only see it with multiple grabs. Also understand the back tips of the grabber are not rubber, they are slick plastic, making it virtually impossible to lift any 4-sided object with just 3 tongs. Many claw machines rotate the grips as they go down making it even harder to grabs something - not that it would matter. The production crew of the crane machine likely put the system in auto-mode, open up the case from the front and then play it 100 times, even manually placing the grabber directly and around the items. When it can be assured there is absolutely no way to lift or win anything, the machine is closed from the front, auto-mode is turned off, and it is given a seal of approval and then put out on the floor ready for use.

I believe I know what's happened here. The claw machine IS rigged, but it does have a payout at a set number. The issue is that the prize chute sensor is busted, causing it to think you won every now and then and play the winner audio track. Still, it is an issue that should be resolved. Great video guys!

I actually just watched about 3-4 videos and honestly 30 seconds into the first video I could have told you that. The sad part is the channel will continue to be successful because 95% of the viewers are little kids who really don’t know better, they think this guy is cool because he , or should I say his parents most likely, own some arcades. I stumbled upon this video more than likely because one of my kids must have viewed it or something similar, the only reason I watched was to see exactly why one video had 7.5 million views, after watching the video in its entirety I’m still wondering why it had 7.5 million views. Unfortunately our society is turning into a mindless disaster, I’m not trying to be a troll at all but it’s really disturbing see what kind of videos and channels are successful here on KZbin, 90% of them are pure garbage and are a reflection of what our society is turning into mentally. I’m all for enjoyment and entertainment, I understand that KZbin is a place of freedom and watching what you like but at the same time it also shows how much society has changed mentally just by seeing what gets the most views, I guess to each their own right, maybe I’m just getting too old, lol.

I've been in the industry for 25 years as a field manager and a tech. The claw actually is setup correctly. The vendor even has rubber tips on it to assist in grabbing the prize and the strength is set pretty high. You're never going to win at the rate this guy claims he can. "Oh man this so rigged me...". To be blunt, you're just not that good at it. If the machine paid out each time you claim it "rigged" you? Then the company would go out of business. $2.00 prize given out each time someone puts in .50cents or a dollar. Now how would that make any sense? Each company has strict guidelines for payout percentages to ensure they earn a profit, and to ensure they PAY out prizes on a regular basis. You're not going to win every time. Get over yourself.
