She isn't more known because she is an independent artist, so no large label backing to promote her and put out videos or records, she does it herself. She is number 1! The reason she is not super well known is because she refused all record labels that wanted to sign her. Plus, she a gospel singer thus her demographic is limited. Who wants to listen about god all day? That's Hell.

As you know Chris, Sohyang actually does not want to become famous. We know she sits at the very pinnacle of female singers on this and every other planet, but she decided between 2016 and 2020 that it was not God's will for her life to pursue fame and fortune, so she doesn't. She is the most extraordinary vocalist that I know of.
