Wow, its like the lovechild of Kurt Cobain and Bob Dylan married a low-fi Gwen Stefani and they had an extremely talented baby boy. It has the same impact as an old song called Runaway Train, by Soul Asylum. Very evocative. Thanks to +Merrit Lee for that speed draw, I found a new artist to watch.

This song means a lot to me. I was in a psych ward for 3 days and I only came home yesterday. I was having a panic attack about coming home since I basically live in the hospital and another patient gave me her phone and earphones. She said she had a good ass song to calm me down and put this on. I listened to it on repeat for hours and haven’t stopped listening since I came home. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for making music for us, you’re amazing ❤️❤️

about a year ago you reposted my 'i crash u crash' cover on soundcloud and we had a little conversation about how i could get my music heard by more people - i still follow the advice you gave me and its doing me well so far, my music has come a long way since - i just wanted to say im very proud of you man and seeing how far you've come since our chat is genuinely super fucking inspiring and im so stoked for you that you're to getting the recognition you deserve - keep killing it homie
@StanTheBlueYoshi695 жыл бұрын
what advice did he give you
@duccbod4 жыл бұрын
@@StanTheBlueYoshi69 hopefully he doesnt mind me posting this i just think it's good advice that everyone could benefit from, my question to him was: "i just got a question by the way buddy, how did you manage to get yourself out there and heard? was it consistency and keeping the same passion for music? im not expecting everyone to hear my music as soon as i post it im not that ignorant, just curious for the future and how i can better myself and widen my audience, ty x" and his reply was: "Look at the community you consider yourself to be apart of, and compare it to the community that everyone WANTS to be apart of. In this context, I am speaking of music. When i play music, i keep it soft and indie, and stray away from music like rap, trap, etc. But to get my music more views, and more people interested in that style, i play my own versions of more popular songs, such as my star shopping cover, which got like 100k on youtube and generated a good 75% of my fanbase. They were looking for lil peep, and they got a slightly different version, but one that still portrayed the beauty in his music. Make something your own, and don't try and make it exactly like the original artist. And write a bunch!!! Believe it or not, posting originals on youtube actually gets more views/likes/subs for you than you think. I like your music from what i've heard, and i definitely believe you have potential to make it, so i wish you luck. Thanks for enjoying my music and supporting me as well."

weird timing. I'm sitting here in the room I grew up in, just moved back in.. had a place and my mom was staying with me, but she got to bad.. crying herself to sleep every night over my dad, still living with her hoarding. when I left she was in and out of jail.. never was enough, never could fix it.. no matter how hard I tried. i came home to my sister shipping to rehab, my dad getting sicker, my brother is a few months in to his 10 prison sentence.. theres nothing here anymore. sitting in my room smoking a joint with blankets nailed over all my windows in the dark. I quit my job about a week ago, was gonna leave with this girl and start again, a chance to be happy. found out she has been seeing her ex boyfriend. now I'm just sitting here alone, reading all the texts my mom has been sending that I havent been able to answer.. "I'm scared to go alone, but I'm never coming home"
