Gukesh has reached a rating of 2758 and is currently ranked no.1 in India and no.8 in the world. He was playing on the 4th board in the first round of the Qatar Masters 2023 against IM Nubairshah Shaikh. Nubair is a strong IM with a rating of 2432 and 2 GM norms, however, Gukesh is clearly the superior player having a rating difference of 300 Elo points. @@altuprasaad8049 Arjun recently said that except Pragg everyone was out of form. He resigned in a draw position in Asian games. He nearly lost this game too against an IM. Ofc as an Indian tho, I want him to be in a top form and make a strong comeback

Gukesh plays imbalance positions...it back fires sometimes...his has strong game play against top players (Asian games abdusattarov wei yi ,le quang Liam)...with low rated players he takes lot of risks

Repeating move. Na4 followed by Bb5, then Nc3 Ba6 again Na4 Bb5 and goes on. That was why the guy offered to draw.
