"Stairway To Heaven" is one of the most iconic rock songs ever written until this day. I saw Zep twice in the same venue where they're playing in this video. Robert Plant was my teenage fantasy ( I saw them when I was 16). His nickname is "The Golden God", I had a huge poster over my bed featuring his bulge, hey I was a hormonal teen. Zep is my everything until this day. And, I am 62!!!

You just witnessed the original gods of rock. Robert Plant was THE Golden God of Rock, Jimmy Page THE Master Magician of Sound. John Paul Jones the heart and soul of rock and roll and John Bonham THE real God of Thunder. lol I first heard them in 1970 and there has not been two days in a row since that i have not listened them. I hope you get the chance to follow their music. The songs "Thank you " and" In My Time of Dying" are two amazing songs as well. ok tbh everything they did was incredible and awe inspiring.

He's certainly an alright looking lad, isn't he? Also - they are standing so close together for the main part of the song, cos I suppose they need to see the visual cues/looks to get an idea of the changes (much quicker than listening to what's in your monitor on stage). They were a jam band live, and it's why every live bootleg is so precious; magical.

Jone Paul Jones and Jon Bonham were so in sync that Robert and Jimmy could just jam out as they wanted. I reckon they could've done it blindfolded but well noted.

Great memories and sure miss it. In the 70s to mid 80s u couldnt stop me from a concert even if I had to hitchhike. For some reason wasnt as scary back then to hitch a ride, but when I first started doing concerts I wasnt old enough to drive. Music was almost spiritual connect for me. I sure miss everyone. Recovery is long and hard but I never give up or in. Im pretty stubborn, lol. Thanx again so much, please take care, stay groovy, Peace

@@Fairygrl_TW I often wonder which I would choose if I could go back in time to one concert. LZ@MSG or PInk Floyd Pulse? I go back and forth on that. I was 14 when Bonham died. Just barely missed out. Grrr. I am off to see U2 in the Sphere though. Not Pink Floyd but it should be epic. And if you ever get a chance to see Blackpink you should. 2nd best show I have ever seen. just behind AC/DC and just ahead of Beastie Boys. I think we could get K to pass out from lust if she saw a Poison or an early Van Halen video.

52 years after its release on their 4th album, singer Robert Plant is now actually reluctant to perform the piece, as it no longer reflects the person he is or the outlook he has in later life. Which is curious, because he has no such problem with pieces which are slightly older (their back catalogue pretty much starts in 1968). Or perhaps he's just reacting - as guitar shop owners everywhere do when they hear someone play the opening chords - to the song's sheer over-exposure. Like a lot of classical music, it's almost too familiar to listen to.

Many reactors go for recordings of live shows of bands who have aged 45 -50 years & are less than a shadow of their former selfs .
