Let me address your speech at the beginning, as someone who was born and raised in Philadelphia. We are all actually used to losing. All of the Philadelphia teams. We got the one Super Bowl win. And got the World Series in 2008. We are all far too aware of how many losses we have endured, many of them being total Heartbreakers when the teams got so close to the end and lost in a heartbreaker. That has made us bipolar when it comes to winning and losing. If the team is even slightly not doing well, we want to fire everybody. Sports radio becomes an all day Event of people calling into complain about the coach or management or star players. Everyone is pointing fingers. On the other hand, if we start to do well, we are so hungry, so thirsty, so in need of a win That yes, we all get a little out of hand. And we are all aware of it. So aware that it’s kind of like an understood inside joke because we all know that it probably Won’t work out in the end. So let’s enjoy this while we can. In addition, a lot of the chest thumping is a response to the rest of the sports world always looking down on Philadelphia. Always calling us, poverty franchisees, always saying Philadelphia sports fans are the worst (but then when you see streamers travel Vlogs when they come to our games, They end up having a lot more respect for us). Because we aren’t actually all that mean. It’s why Kellzi‘s “no one likes us, we don’t care“ was such a hit.
