I've been doing business in Sri Lanka for 20 years. It's a beautiful country, mostly a Buddhist country, very friendly people . Sure, there are problems with the government in Sri Lanka (basically family run), corruption and the like, but nothing to warrant claiming asylum in another country. I almost moved to Sri Lanka for my work. Amazing country and looking forward to going back later this year for a holiday.
