Има vs There is - quick lesson in Bulgarian

There are many differences between English and Bulgarian, here is a notable one found in probably the first structure you will learn "Тук има" (there is)
Notice how we would use the verb "have" and also make a note that it will not conjugate when used in this structure.
Има много хора на улицата.
There are many people in the street.
Има кафе и чай.
There is coffee and tea.
Има една жена на вратата.
There is a woman at the door.
