Hey Im not exactly a beginner on touch designer but i still enjoy the way u go over everything because sometimes, such as with the getting the rgb data from images to tops, I will know to do it but wont know EXACTLY why i am doing it so your explanation was super helpful in learning instead of just following.

Glad to hear this! I completely agree, a lot of tutorials out there have you entering specific values and programming things without any explanation. Still, I’d like to create more complex visuals so hopefully I can find a balance !

You could maybe like make complex visuals as part 2s of past tutorials that way you can skip the beginner level stuff and point to part one for those who don’t understand. I’ll be watching whatever you decide haha. (Also I made a vid using this structure if u want to see ur teaching put to use lmaoo)

Thank you so much for the useful tutorial video!! I'm a foreigner, but the explanation was very easy and kind, so it was really helpful:) I have one question while folllowing the tutorial, how to rotate like the first sample work? I would really be grateful if you could tell me.
@pjcreatedАй бұрын
Glad it was helpful! In the first tab of the geometry node you can rotate the piece by change the values, i.e. type 90 into rotate x. I'm not sure if this is what you mean though.

HI, great looking. However I have blank camera and can't see anything in my Render TOP, could you help me please? I am new to TD and really don't know what to do about it :DD

Hmm I would maybe guess you missed a step in the instancing step on the geometry node, otherwise I'm not too sure sorry :(

Is it possibly the rows and columns on the grid operator?
