I thought the movie was defiantly mid, like you said, but mannnn did Chauncy looks fantastic. I loved his monster bear form. Just so cool. I went into this movie though, thinking there were going to be a lot more monsters, and there would be a lot more to the imagination spookyness. I would have loved more of the imaginary world but unfortunately that didn't really happen. I'm a huge fan of horror and monster movies so the commercials made me think this was going to be more monster movie than family drama but I don't expect a lot from newer horror. Most of it is pretty disappointing at this point.

Agree, the imaginary world was the best part of the film and I agree that they could have done more with that. Maybe they'll do a sequel or a franchise with all sorts of imaginary friends.

Chauncey does look terrifying and he is creepy in the film, but there's not much more to it, unfortunately. I hope you end up liking it more than I did tho... :)

same... I loved the initial marketing and teasers but then you see the trailer and you know it's not going to be that great...
