Dr. Sheldrake, your research and writings DO move our culture forward, transforms us; that is, those of us who hear your callings and believe in your vision, which is a correct vision.

I am so enjoying this talk! I and others are imagining a better future with the Earth completely replenished in every way & it’s wonderful that many others are also imagining better times! Imagining a peaceful world with compassionate people without all these ideas of merging the human w/nanotechnology! Imagining healthy people, clean food, water & air, ozone perfect, clean seas, new beautiful rainforests, etc.! Also...being vaccine free & chip free! Freedom, period! Couldn’t be a more perfect time in which to do so, imho! ♥️

Dear Rupert. I am so glad to have found you and your voice as a scientist really standing up against a mind-set that is not helping humanity and the earth. I am what some describe as an Artist and that I do Art. I have not been comfortable with this at all. In the Oxford dictionary the last time I looked described art as being from the word ARTIFICIAL.... well I know you can see where I am going with this.... that very act of thought is REAL and is also ABSTRACT.... another term in world of art.... anyways keep up the good work my good fine man. well bloody done.

Imagination create the world we live in today
@oarsquare51543 жыл бұрын
It is through imagination, as a participatory agent, that our ontological Beingness grows. In this way, consciousness becomes more spacious and generative. Imagination is perception of the heart, as a mode of knowing, not fantasy and entertainment. It is a spiritual mode of knowing.

Thanks for coming back in our space now. Love your presentations, your books, your ideas ! We are really in the delusion of politics with this administration. Thanks for rising our consciousness . Greater fields to come , dying and rising !

This has nothing to do with a particular political administration. Both the Left and right administrations have been totally corrupted and do not esteem real scientific inquiry or advancement as a priority. As a matter of fact they surpress and sensor scientific inquiry that could lead to genuine progress, in favor of global dogmatic and financial special interest groups that only really seek to frighten and extract more money from the public under the guise of saving the world. Hence the sorry state of affairs the world is in today.

Great conversation gentlemen! Rupert it's very hard to believe that you haven't discovered the magic of the Hobbit, LOTR trilogy. I suggest you roll a couple of doobies and binge watch them. It is purpose, sometimes when all hope is gone all we have to move us is these stories. The good winning over evil. Yes there is a new spiritual movement about. Steiner, Neoanthroposophy, Sofia, and yes science knows nothing.

I have found how Imagination/feeling creates reality while practicing what New Thought (really ancient teachings) teacher, Neville Goddard, taught so well! Esp. Doing his ladder exercise! How shocked I was when it occurred! “Neville Goddard - Imagination Exercise - E.O. Locker, Jr. - The Law & The Promise” on YT! Also...while coming off the very addicting Benzodiazepine...when all feelings are resurfacing after many years of having emotions, appetite, etc. sedated, I found my emotions in an amplified state! I firmly believe that amplified state of emotion & intuition allowed me to feel not only that “I was me, “ but that also, another individual I felt was my self! = verbally, I thought & felt at the same time: “I am me & he is me!” The visual in my mind was that of two soft white rectangular lights looking as if the were being super imposed, until I saw that they had merged! One wild experience! I’ve had several other experiences of the Oneness of all things & with 2 others! Except for the great support one finds to help get through such a long withdrawal process...these were some good experiences of the withdrawal, which not everyone has! Thank God for them! It’s a long marathon that none of us are promised we will succeed!

I enjoyed your discussion and would like to note that some of the pictures from deep space, modeling plasma, electric, and magnetic filaments connecting stars and galaxies, look very much like pictures modeling nerve and synapse filaments in the body and brain. I would say that the universe is conscious to a degree we can't imagine, on scales from sub-atomic particles and the quantum foam, to infinities stretching beyond the farthest our instruments can detect.

Precisely. All things are created / designed (consciously)spiritually before they come into being (physical reality).

When Man is given a question in relation to his direct experience, he must use the faculty of reason to look inwardly, as opposed to an affirmation, which society is entirely based upon psychologically, by which it creates answers and not questions. To question is truly to understand what knowing is, but to answer, should it not demonstrate a continuation of reason(reason being the perfection of conception) simply affirms what is boundless into condensation or crystallisation. When Man uses his reasoning faculties to look inwardly, he begins the process coagulation, which is the unification of that which has been torn to parts and pieces, which is none other than his own awareness.

I love these dialogues. These are getting into the "deep" of the subjects. Mr. Sheldrake is a voice for spirituality. He has gone into these thoughts with eyes wide open, and a mind that can speak to what the mind has seen.
@barbarapiber10844 жыл бұрын
This dialogue took place at the time of a powerful solar eclipse with which reality began to irreversibly unfold. For now the script is very uncertain, arbitrary and therefore to a large extent left to our imagination. What do we do with the script at hand? Language, though, is not just what it appears to be, just as reality is not just what it appears to be. Language is also organized as nested hierarchy and can therefore reveal the truth, as long as it is attracted by the truth.

As much as I love J.R.R Tolkien he didn't invent anything and I'm sure that if we asked him he'd agree. He borrowed ideas; we've been telling stories to get a new perspective, or understand our own since the day we had language I'm sure and he knew THEM (at least the ones he studied). Anyway, great talk, I'd check out J.R.R tolkien's essay "On Fairy stories" it's a brilliant ode and defence to the art and magic of fantastical story telling.

You know that in Biographia Literaria Coleridge put reason as a function of the imagination and that was a common concept during the Romantic Period.... Now reason and imagination are seen in most cases as opposing functions of the mind, but reasoning often requires imagination, so, in a way it makes me think that imagination is actually more fundamental, and that it would only be logic to put a function that depends on another within the function it depends on and not the other way round or as an antithetical function.

I do enjoy these conversations very much, but I can’t bring myself to share their sentiments. The mechanistic materialist worldview might be depressing, but the honest alternative is truly horrifying. To think that there’s an active agency behind the hostility of nature, the hyperabundance of religious confusion and contradiction, and the unimaginable acts of cruelty measured out by humans, has not helped me to find any meaning, to put it mildly. I’d love to share a more hopeful outlook but I think that would involve blinkers the size of galaxies. Materialism might actually be a true solace, and the only way for us to find meaning, especially after the chaos and horror of the 20th century. Better to be depressed than horrified.

Here's my idea for a zero carbon transportation, and power generation system. Start with Kite Power. Ken Griffith's TED talk about Kite Power explains how to make low cost, high output electricity using big kites. Modify the kites into sky lifts. Introducing your new transport. You ride inside of an egg. The egg is your cockpit, pressurized, warm, and safe. Buckle up, here we go. Your new transport is your favorite bird on a Dirigible Scale. Mine is an enormous Raven. At the hanger, I enter the hatch of my Raven's egg. The ultralight robotic dirigible then mimics the proven design of a living animal. DaVinci said, Copy Nature. To rise into the heavens, the bio Mimic Dirigible fly's to the sky lift kite platform. Up we go. At two miles altitude with a 20:1 glide ratio my travel uses no fuel for forty miles. Luckily the next sky lift is not that far. No roads. No ferries on the water. No big oil. Very low cost electricity. Peace.
