I don't agree with Panpsychism -- plants, animals and humans have life form (etheric body), humans and animals have (astral body) meaning they are conscious and experience the world through senses and humans and only humans have Ego (I am) --- World was created by God for Humans to reach their ultimate goal and highest level of consciousness (Love) --- panpsychism lends itself to a kind of paganism. Having listened to all of this I can assure you that if Rupert was a Christian he would have been speaking about Jesus Christ and not about Shamans, Bhudda, Shiva and hallucinogenic drug taking. His talk could not be further from the basic Christian faith. I cannot imagine that he believes in the physical resurrection of Christ, it is more likely that he has a Gnostic interpretation of what is the most important event in history. If he did believe in the resurrection he would not have been able to avoid mentioning it. Thus this talk is an example of antichrist.

Don't understand how Sheldrake can claim to be Christian when he seems to have a diminished view of Jesus of Nazareth as he calls him at one point to distinquish him from the "cosmic Christ". That's just not the Christian view of a very pivotal doctrine. I admire his courage to defy the academic hierarchy and it's interesting to hear his life experience in India. It does say that people from all over the world will come to the feast of the lamb at the end of days so that gives some support to the idea of there can be virtuous people from different traditions. But it can be perilous to be too ecumenical and runs the risk of making Jesus less than what he is, king of kings and lord of lords which every knee will bow to.

Over twenty years ago, I worked in the Federal Public Service in Western Australia,. A colleague approached me on one occasion and asked me if I would like to join a Chi Gong group, run by a Chi Gong practitioner, who was also a physiotherapist. I had no idea what the term entailed, so I said, 'Why not.' Right from the beginning, Irena. the leader was at pains to demonstrate the action of the 'Chi,' in a palpable manner. All twelve of us formed a circle; one half of the circle would breathe-in, raising their arms vertically and then as their arms came down to their lowest level, the other half of the circle would raise their arms similarly, to the vertical level. As this process continued, the leader asked each of us, individually, to stand in the center of the circle, while the rest of us in the group continued the reciprocal arm movements. To my surprise, the person standing in the middle of the group, swayed back and forth,in accordance with the arm movements of those in the circle. In the methodism I grew up in this is called a testimony. An unusual testimony to be sure, at least for those circles, but what a marvellous one, and beautifully delivered. A more traditional Christian theology would be struck and a bit saddened by Sheldrake’s brief take on Jesus Christ. It would be marvellous if he would take a larger step in the direction of the Incarnation of God in Jesus Christ. I think Dr. Sheldrake would find another soulmate in the work of the late Anglican theologian Thomas F. Torrance (see his book of lectures entitled “Incarnation”). Torrance was a great student of St. Athanasius of Alexandria. Torrance also had much experience in the east, especially China. And, he is highly respected in the Eastern Orthodox world for his bridge building with the Catholic/Anglican world.

First up!! We need to acknowledge that the "God" of the Old Testament is NOT the Creator of All!! Check out Hebrew Scholar, Mauro Biglino's book, "Gods of The Bible". Anglican Priest, Paul A. Wallis has done some excellent work in this area, as well. Check out his book, "The Eden Conspiracy"!!
