played for years on controller, moved to wheel couple weeks ago and although very hard to get started, personally i think its a lot more fun. realising the impact of things like caster in particular and how it affects your FFB, and how dramatically the fine-tuning can change your car and its ability to slide, compared to controller where its throw on a quick tune on and just go. definitely not so chill though having to throw a wheel around.

In regards to CarX Drift Racing 3, the developers said that there would be teams to develop the game, so another group of CarX developers would create the game while the others going to continue the existing games, there are groups for CarX Drift Racing 2, CarX Street, CarX Rally, and even CarX Highway Racing.

I indeed agree with you. So now I go Controller for CarX and Wheel for Assetto Corsa...and for each type of game, each type of controller fits them best. I used to think I was a loser if i used controller in Carx, but after learning to drift in AC, i feel like carx is better off with a controller.

I agree, controller is way easier than a wheel. When I first played it I was able to drift with my controller straight away, didn't even have to practice. Now that I have a wheel and have been playing Assetto when I jump on CarX I try using my wheel and it's a bit of a challenge. Slowly getting better but finding the challenge quite fun. Feels a bit more realistic with the wheel but hard to keep it smooth. Game is definitely controller oriented.

I've been playing CarX with controller for about 1000 hours. You can drift as smooth as any wheel, with a certain steering technique. Push the stick all the way forward, and steer using small movements and keep pushing the left stick forward when driving, much much smoother.

I've been playing on controller for about 2 years now. Here is a hint...use stick rolling! Stick Rolling helps smooth the steering out so much and you can get A LOT more angle out of you're cars!

Game is 100% made for controller but I still use the wheel since wheel is life 😅 ... side note for the people saying they cant afford a wheel grab your mower and weedeater go door to door $15 for front $15 for the back or the whole yard for $25 and you will have the money in a few days ... I did this when I was 16 for car parts it works well lol
