I forgot what Madden has this, but you would play a introductory game and it had cutscenes. It was the Seahawks against someone and you had to go down the field and win the game. Pretty neat stuff, but slows down the game a bit and makes the game even more scripted. I haven’t played Madden for a while so I don’t know when they took it out. Not that many people were talking about it to begin with.

If you want to say they don't get enough time in between developing iterations look at UFC 4 to UFC 5 there's not much that was added in three years in terms of gameplay. They had such a good base to build off of (madden 12), but completely reconstructed the game and made it the bare bones, trash gameplay scam it is today in madden 13. EA made a bad decision, and that is their fault. Also, EA knows their game is bad, but come out every year saying “a step in the right direction” when all they add is one feature to MUT. Look at SOFTDRINKTV’s interview with Rex Dickson from four years ago. He almost avoids all of the questions because he knows that the game they are producing is bare bones and absolutely horrible.
