Your voice is simply outstanding! The visuals and presentation is as always; impeccable and aesthetically brilliant. The lighting is perfect! You're impressive pale mauve suit jacket blends very classy in the recording setting with the Steinway & Sons grand piano and the Manley mic. Altogether this makes for a very smart and appealing video presentation! 🎥 Excellent work by your team! 😎 🎧 🔊 As soon as the song begins we are completely transfixed! We hear the much loved and recognizable piano intro to this masterpiece song! At 0:13 you start to sing and we are treated with your mesmerizing and gorgeous vocals! When you sing the line at 0:39; ♫ "Imagine all the people"♪, it totally blows us away, with the magic and emotional essence that is captured in your voice! Then with 0:45; ♫ "Living for today"♪; oh wow, how awesome are your vocals!! Then when you follow at 0:50 with; ♫ "Ah-ha--"♪; there is astonishing beauty in the sweetness of your voice. I'm not sure if it's "head-notes" or just you singing very high; but you have that majestic quality in your voice. It's so powerfully alluring; irresistible and tender. Totally awesome! 😃 You handle this song with such ease! I don't know how anyone could sing this song any better!!! 😊 There is no Phil Spector string production on this number (like the original); but only you and the piano! You have this unbelievable ability to capture the magic from this 1971 song and transform it so fresh and vibrant here to us today! This takes huge talent; and here you are giving it to us as a gift for 2021. 🤗 💕 At 0:52; ♫ "Imagine there's no countries"♪, (I could still envisage strings being introduced here); 🙂 but you have that powerful driving x-factor in your vocals, in the way you treat the melody, that is magnetic and raw in emotion! Plus you're giving us wonderful eye-contact throughout, as you convey the lyrics to us! Terrific! When at 2:32, you sing; ♫ "you-hoo"♪, with a slight bit more dynamics than previously (1:28). Then at 2:34; ♫ "You may say, I'm a dreamer"♪; you sing compelling and excellently again (with sublime vibrato)! There is such control in your vocals Emily, you must be commended in this performance! Truly remarkable! 😊 At 2:58 is the nice close-up again and we are in for a surprise! Wow! a piano solo! 🎹 What a brilliant arrangement! It's pretty and absolutely beautiful and played so elegantly! Marvelous piano playing Emily! What a treat! Then you resume at 3:20 with; ♫ "You may say, I'm a dreamer"♪. The piano solo blends in so well and you were brave to introduce it into this epic song so successfully! I love it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ At 3:25 ♫ "But I'm not the only one"♪; is another line sung perfectly and confidently! Then 3:38; ♫ "And the world will live as one"♪, to finish off beautifully; but we are in for a bonus!! -- you play the signature piano riff of 'Imagine' again; but play up it up a few octaves! What a clever delicate touch to finish the performance! 👍 Then exactly on 4:00 minutes, we get your lovely trademark smile! 😁 Well done! _In conclusion..._ This cover of 'Imagine' is simply phenomenal. *Your rendition is a masterpiece of a cover!* The way you have treated the song, has been done with complete respect; without deviating and spoiling it with extra unexpected melodic frills! (like some people do). This would have to be one of the best covers of this epic song, that any artist has performed; and as said before; you have done it 'live' with just you and the piano!!! What an outstanding effort! If this performance presented to us here, was accompanied and backed by a produced soundtrack; you'd expect it to be on CD and played on the radio! 📡 🔊 Congratulations big-time!!! 😃 _Did you create that little piano solo yourself? I did real well in college English Composition and similar courses, straight A’s, but that was many years ago, and without the specialized terminology and knowledge, none of that really matters. In ALL the years since the birth of "Imagine", I have not heard a more worthy performance of it.
