I AM HEARTBROKEN TO SEE THE CONDITION THESE FAMILIES ARE LIVING IN @ PATWA, CANE GROVE MAHAICA, GUYANA . NO PORTABLE WATER, ROADS, ELECTRICITY,WIFI AND TELEVISION. WITHOUT COMPLAINING THEY EMBRACE LIFE TO ITS FULLEST AND ARE CONTENT WITH THE LITTLE THEY HAVE AND EVEN SHARED SOME WITH ME. THESE ARE TRULY AMAZING PEOPLE WITH VERY LITTLE BUT YET A LOT TO OFFER...

It never ceases to amaze me that “country people” are always willing to share what little they have with complete strangers. I had relatives in Bushlot and Black Bush who used to always cook extra just in case someone visits. Anywhere you go, persons used to ask “alyuh naah guh eat lil”...

Outstanding work my brother! Very grateful for you. Thank you for highlighting this and kudos to you for taking your time to go into those distressed areas. Im glad I came across your channel. This is what Guyana needs: somebody selfless to bring these issues to the forefront. The toxicity of politics right now is overtaking this beautiful country and nobody is focusing on the real issues. You do more than some politicians. Good going and you’re right we should all try to link up via this channel and do something meaningful for people in need from the homeland.

Great vlog, my fellow Guyanese have very little material stuff, but they have inner peace of mind just listen to their voices , look at their faces. They might be healthy more than the average person because they are eating fresh foods and veggies. These people are willing to share what little they have, speaks volumes about their character. God Bless you and your family for doing what you are doing. 💛

Look at these people, they don't have much, yet they freely give, they're happy and content with the life they're living, the kids are playing outdoors, swimming, climbing trees and enjoying themselves, many kids today with privileged lives don't even know how to do this, they will not survive without an iPhone, computer or fast food, thanks for showing kindness and generosity to those in need, please let me know how I can help. God bless you and your family♥️🙏

Having lived with my late godmother from age 6 at her thatched, not only roof but thatched walls one roomed hut at Yupukari, I related the life there when I visited the village many years ago and see it almost same, is touching to my heart, especially the children our potential leaders. As children-, the word poor or poverty never existed in our minds /muchless in our vocabulary but enjoy life to its fullest. We made our toys. Because of this, I believe, the lowly are always lovingly giving freely. Where are the government representatives? At least those families on the dam could be given solar lights and free wifi and tablets for the sake of the children's education.

Did you witness the man with the poorest looking house, how big his heart was? Wow. I am touched. And every tree, every green thing gives me such nice feeling. Even the earth is where I see Mother Earth and her generosity. I am glad you and your family have this heart too. Never change, and thank you for always remembering to give back. Love from Canada.

Just saw this episode. Heart breaking to see in this modern world people are still living in such poverty when so much of us have more than what we need. However I look at the positive. These kids might not have the things we see as luxury, they have fresh organic fruits and vegetables that is full of antioxidants and diseases preventing agents. When you go back next sunday. Please let them know the importance of those fresh fruits and veggies. In the states we take vitamin supplements, full of preservatives, they have it in the food. I pray with our new found OIL some of that money will be used to bring water and electricity and other basic necessities to these families. Blessings. 😪😪❤
