I belong to an Astronomy Club and we have an observatory with a Meade 16" LX200 and when Mars was getting close to opposition in Dec. 2022 there was quite a few of us booking time to observe/photograph Mars. The telescope was a gift from the University of New Mexico and we built a roll-off roof building in a park North of Las Cruces in Bortle three (now four) skies. I'm so spoiled by that telescope, but unfortunately I cannot use it all the time.
