Thanks Cameron - we are going on vacation and my wife just picked up one of these and lo and behold, no manual when I opened the package. This made very easy to set the time and set it up to feed 1x a day for us.

GODAMMET!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have 6 different auto feeders. I never had to find instructions for them. The only reason I haven't thrown this away is because of the build quality. The least intuitive thing I have ever seen. I think I have printed the instructions 3 times now at different points but you gave a simple easy way so thanks

The first time I set this up, going off the instructions, was kind of a nightmare. I had to set up again because for no apparent reason it was flashing EEEE and had to be reset…this video was so much simpler. The manual is garbage. For one thing it has you set up the time first which is confusing because as this video shows, when you turn it on it prompts you to set up the feeding times first. Thank you so much!!

Any tip on what food to use? Im afraid flakes could get soggy and not work. Pellets may come out too fast?

maybe not fill the canister all the way and do a spot check clean every so often. i use flakes and it did get moist so maybe not so much.
