In the beauty and fashion world, "our power is how we look; our currency is how our images look." (@3:10 - 3:20) That's why it was so important to her, after that photo shoot, to take control of her image and make sure that from then on, she had the right make-up. Had that shoot not been done in black and white, what that make-up artist did to her could have derailed her career before she even got started good.

She doesn't look like she has used any botox or lip filler at all. Tight skin, wrinkle-free on mature African women is not unusual AT ALL. Also, full lips come naturally on African women.

David Bowie was born with different-colored eyes. The punch resulted in one of the pupils being permanently dilated, not in...color change! I guess Iman did not correct this, because it was too pedantic a point to make, and it makes no difference really in the context of the discussion.
