Apart from the great strategic planning, the gameplay tips and general helpful information, it is stunning following you through all of these maps with barely any waypoints.. my trucker hat off to you! Will be following your series all the way! Hope you can keep doing this. There is nothing like it on YT. Pure awesomeness!

I'm really glad you're enjoying it. Great to have you along for the ride and thanks for the uplifting comment! 🙂

I'm right there with ya! Nothin else like it, and I too will be following along... Probably forever! Lol! My son and I are pretty new, but both of our attitudes, and approach to life have been improving since we dove back in and found this channel. Frustration is the worst for me, and the ability to work through it with help is a game changer!

Right? I always put way points just in case but if you have played it enough I guess it's all memorized. 😅

The multitasking efficiency of this episode! 😀 Fantastic stuff! On tyre choice, I think it is always a compromise and comes down to preference. I chose to use chains (OHD II + All Chains) because I prefer to have the control on ice, and find that the performance in snow and mud is not much reduced. It's been working well so far while following along👍
@zorshix2 ай бұрын
I agree the tire choice is a matter of preference. They'll all do the job, just depends on what you want.

OHD1s also support more load because of the tire weight as well. Possibly my favorite tire for heavy cargo. Put a heavy addon in the garage like a fuel tank or a heavy crane and swap from a mud tire like the tayga balloons to the OHD1 and notice how much less squat the rear does on the tayga
@zorshix6 ай бұрын
I agree, they are better for heavier loads. They have plenty of grip too. I also love how wide they are on the Russian trucks rear axels

My son plays with his friend, and they are currently in some mud pit somewhere next to a garage, and they are going through literally EVERY tire, and EVERY add-on and trailer configuration imaginable! Thanks for always having unusually valuable comments! For real! The little things count, and having extra details can make a big difference for me, at least! Thanks from one old nerd to another!

Congrats on crackin' 1,000 subs! I'm nearly a day late for this one, but it's performing very well it seems! Super stoked for yer channel! This was a killer episode! My follow along save is at like 1/4 the hours compared to my regular one! Hahahaha! Simply amazing sir! Can't wait for the next one!
@zorshix6 ай бұрын
It's people like you that have been so supportive, the real reason the channel is growing. 💯😊 Thank you for always being there man!

@@zorshix Remember... we're only here because you are doing this SO WELL! So it seems it's reciprocal! You keep at it, and it will continue to grow! It's just great to see someone with so much passion for something, and having the the ability to share that with your audience! And yer community... DUDE! They are the best! @theoriginalzinng for example! That comment just sent my son and his best friend into the living room to go "test" tires! 😆 And @MokPlosh said it best! Hats off to you my friend! For all of it! 🤝

Instead of going through the very muddy stretch to the ice lake in the back were you delivered the two beams, you can just go cross country and stick to the cliff (on your right when you are approaching your CAT while driving on the muddy stretch). The ground is better there iirc.
@zorshix6 ай бұрын
It is better over there. No doubt about it. 👍

Impressive! A bit confusing at times, i.e., where you are on the map, but so, so, good!

Would it have been better to winch the Tayga behind the Cat?

That would've made it easier to get through yes

Awesome video 🔥👌. why you are using highrange gearbox instead of offroad? And how do you know the tire ratings?
@zorshix6 ай бұрын
The highrange gearbox is much more fuel efficient, I use it in all my trucks if possible. The tire ratings I found in the game code but they are also publicly available online for anyone to view. Great questions! ✌️

To bad the medical detector add on is so messed up in this game. When I played it with a friend I just went online to maprunner to figure out where to go as the game gives you no clue as to where you should search. I kinda wish they would make the big yellow circles on the map similar to hard mode when they want to to search a part of the map without giving the spot away.
@zorshix6 ай бұрын
It agree it is unfortunate. I believe they added yellow points on the map to show the locations of the plane parts after a period of time of people being frustrated with the metal detector not working. But yes maprunner shows the locations for a last resort.

Why not just getting steel from imandra? Why driving the whole complicated way through imandra?
@zorshix13 күн бұрын
I prefer to bring it from Lake Kovd rather than drive up that road to the warehouse in Imandra to load it. The road is pretty bad. Just my preference.

I tried and tried and tried to get the garage and I never succeeded. I got like I don’t know 10 trucks in that map I got scouts to refill trucks I tried it with. I tried it with any possible truck. I could think of that could get like I have mods on six trailer two beams. and two fuel for the landslide in mountains well not that white mountains but at the end of episode 13 I was gonna go to that but then that annoying tree made my truck flip so then I got another truck that it flipped out the Rocky section over by the hill that was actually gonna go into my diesel truck. Bought my gooseneck semi trailer but then I said I’m gonna go season 13 do you like some tasks? I had the Ford and my diesel truck and my goose semi, but I just wanted to work on a different app so I decided I was gonna use the utility unit the custom bed with the roof rack for an extra fuel and repair points but I said no I’m gonna go work somewhere else. The story.

I meant to say,map not app
@zorshix5 ай бұрын
This one can be quite frustrating. Taking a break from it is probably good to regain composure. Don't worry, you will get it unlocked. I detailed a basically straightforward way to do it, and you can ignore the additional tasks I did along the way to just focus on the garage itself. I believe in you, you got this ✨👍
@nerdyengineer79432 ай бұрын
Wow, that was NOT how I did it. Needless to say, unlocking the garage was the hardest thing I ever did in Snowrunner 🤣
@zorshix2 ай бұрын
It's definitely up there amongst the hardest things in the game. At least you got it done though, that's the main thing. Believe me I've done it the hard way too.
