I never start out reading comments, UNTIL TODAY! In Lester's defense, Ringo was laying flat out, and no horns showed. Seeing the neighbors feed the birds, I'll never forget Dixie at the end of her life, flat out running to the neighbors for treats! Because of our high heat, 108 yesterday 11% humidity, the fire department’s have hired goats to clean up the under growth to hopefully prevent any more fires. And watching the goats on last nights news it was looking like it will be quite successful. Yea for goats ❤️❤️

Good afternoon Lester all the babies. Leonard is so beautiful looking over there. I love Ringo. His is a good boy ❤ them little babies are adorable Oo Stella looks like it’s wrote to me last year for donkey to jump like that &It’s swinging back-and-forth. Maybe Bri could look at it I think it’s broke. I don’t know though I’m not a vet, but it just seems like that the way he’s hopping on it and it’s moving back-and-forth that little guy is in some serious pain😮 you’re not being lazy. You’re being safe Lester you don’t wanna have no damn heat stroke. It ain’t worth it. You’ll get to it when you get to it. That’s my philosophy works for me.😅

Lester, I know what you mean. The heat has so affected me that I feel sick and weak, even inside the house. It's all I can do to beat the sun at feeding time. To make sure they have plenty of fresh water. I don't even have an appetite and that becomes a vicious circle in itself. Sending you a load of "grace"! With love!

That’s crazy!!! •I’m not a cat person per se…but I think Mr. Hank and I could make a run at it! Everyone knows their space and stick to it. We get just a little snuggle and a little what’s up as he passes by!! 🐈‍⬛ *ALL FEATHERED CREATURES ARE DEAD TO ME! To noisy, to messy and those ostriches scare me to death! ❤All THE 🐕 🐶 🐩 DOGS ARE MY FAVORITE‼️ EACH ONE FOR EACH OF ITS OWN UNIQUENESS! Maggie was my first ❤! Maggie,Ritzie & the other beagle, and then lo and behold our hearts busted with so much love for ALL THE RESCUES…. A good day would be to lay down and all the dogs come lay down on you or beside you and just have some one on one time with doggies!!! I liked how you took the ladies with you to the J&L! Now Sadie is The Best baby ever to guard The J&L. What’s not to ❤? Thankful for people who will honestly take and love these “babies” and give them the BEST LIFE EVER!!! Deanna, It's possible that Jami can figure it out on her own as soon as she returns. She has treated many of the donkeys hoofs and legs, without putting the animals under stress with a vet. Like several people mentioned, he could have something in his hoof causing pain. I hope that she can figure it out. ❤😊

One of my trucker friends just delivered down in the Houston area. He said ALMIST EVERYTHING is closed …., no electricity at most business , unless they have generators. Plus you need to pay cash because the debit/credit pay isn’t working . Thank goodness 🙏 you all faired well enough

As for Andy, it just breaks my heart 💔 to see him limping around like that. I can't wait to see Jami's video on looking at his leg and hoof. Hopefully it is hoof and then maybe you can see if Kourtney and Ashley can come out and look at it. That 8 acre pasture does look better than the past 2 years ( even with the weeds).
