Hello June thank you for the video it was very helpful. I am going to take the IMAT this year and have a similar strategy to you in regards to physics. As I went through the different curriculum of the italian med school I noticed they all have medical physics in the first semester and some for both semesters of the first year. Were those classes very challenging without having focused on physics at all before?

좋게 봐주셔서 감사합니다 🥰 이탈리아 의대 정보가 정말 적긴하죠 ㅠㅠ 저는 IMAT 혼자 공부했어요. 음 제가 문과생이 아니였어서 함부로 말씀드리긴 힘들지만 제 입학 동기인 한국인 친구는 문과 대학 출신이였고 아주 좋은 점수를 받고 입학했기에 가능하다고 생각합니다..! 개인적 의견이지만 난이도가 한국의 수능과 비교하면 낮은 것 같아요. 유럽의 대학들의 '입학은 비교적 쉽게 졸업은 살아남는 놈들만...'의 경우에 해당한다고 생각해요. 😢 제 생각에 본격 시작 하시기 전에 살짝 간보기 좋은 방법은 IMAT 주관 사이트에 있는 과목별 커버해야하는 단원 리스트를 토대로 교과서 내용을 흝어보는 것 같아요. 전 이거 확인하고 혼자 준비하는 걸로 판단했어요! 그리고 수학, 화학, 생물, 그리고 물리 과목을 뺀 과목들은 사실 일반화시켜 생각해보면 문과가 유리할수도 있다고 생각해요...!! 상당한 점수 비중은 차지해요😉

Hi! The answer is partially yes. It's only partially as there are a certain limit of time you should pass an exam. For exam to become 3rd year, you need to pass all the subjects from first year to second year BESIDE MOD(mechanism of disease). Once you are in 3rd year, you only need to pass MOD to become 4th year even though there are other subjects we study in 4th year. Yes it's pretty complex but hope I explained well🥰

Thanks for watching and the wonderful comment! It's pretty tough question to answer, but.. let me try to explain how I feel. I chose Milano because I realized this is the most international city in Italy. This was important aspect as I had encountered so much raccism toward Asian including physical violence while traveling europe in 2017. As I expected, in milano most of "Milanese" don't care about ppl passing by as they are so much used to it Lol. Most of raccism I feel in Italy is automatically guessed as chinese in every place. The worst cases are getting yelled on the street as "Chinese" by guys in a car and same thing at the police office. Maybe I've been so lucky but I haven't felt any physical threat based on raccism toward me in Milano. To recap, (SUPER PERSONAL IDEA) How I feel is if I go to smaller cities, ppl might get so much more interested on my difference appearance and some of them can be offensive intentionally or unintentionally. 저는 사이즈가 큰 학교 중에서 밀라노가 외국인이라는 정체성이 그나마 희석이 되는 도시라고 생각해서 결정했어요! 하지만 대학교 랭킹 사이트(특정 사이트를 말하는건 아니에요) 같은 곳에 논문, 연구, 평판 등의 지표를 확인하실 수 있는걸로 알고있으니 관심 있으시다면 찾아보시는 것도 좋을 것 같아요 🥰

Oki I will try to make ! FYI in 2019 the lower limit for non EU was around 54, but as I know it decreased next yr. (I just rechecked and mine was 59.3 my mistake 😅)

아쉽게도 시험 전에 미리 지원해야해요. 그리고 non-EU학생들은 실질적으로 1지망 학교만 중요하고 2, 3, 4 지망으로 합격한 경우는 거의 없는 걸로 알아요 😢

Ummmm It's hard question for me to answer haha For eating, you can check my video about that. I go out to eat around 8 times a week I guess and in avg it's like 15 euro. (But could be so much more). Besides eating I don't spend a lot for other things. If the money is an obstacle for you to come Milano I think it will be helpful to check scholarship section on univ website. Hi Gardenia, I think this can be an answer. 'There are two essential requirements for students wishing to study medicine in Italy. Students who will apply must have completed 12 years of education and must pass the university exam in their country. Students who meet these two conditions will take the IMAT (International Medical Admission Test) to study medicine at public universities. ' from pavaedu.com/en/study-medicine-in-italy/ (I think it's correct) I didn't study biology at my 12th and also in my previous university, I guess it's fine 😊

No. There's no set minimum score for non EU but you are gonna in a competition with other students. For example, in IMS, your score need to be ranked at least 25th highest score among non-EU candidates.
