It depends on your battery, there are a lot of models such as XT30,XT60, XT90, Deans T, JST, bullet, EC, etc.

Thx for the review. Just a couple of questions: 1. Can I power this from laptop power supply - rated at 18,5V, 3,5A? 2. I would like to charge my cells only to 4.1V - is there any way to do this? If not maybe I could do a little calculation and set saftey timer or capacity cut off so that voltage doesnt exceed 4,1V? 3. Can you charge the battery ONLY using balacing port? And what is the maximum current you can charge ONLY using balacing port, without main leads. Thank you!

+au9879 Hi there, I'll try to answer each point: 1) It takes 11-18 volt, I don't know if it will work with 18.5V, it's not a big difference but it's over the maximum. I use a 12V PSU with mine. 2) You can adjust the calibration of it and make it "show more" than real, but i don't know if you can have a 0.1 V diffrence. 3) You can not charge only by balancing port, you also need to use the main output.

Mine charges a 18650 to 4.13 volts when I use the lio option for the battery type. Hope this helps.

I have choose 0.8A (amps) as it's 1C rate of my 0.8A LiPo battery. A general rule is to charge LiPo at 1C rate. For example a 2200mAh battery can be charged with a maximum current or 2.2A.

My battery is a 2S 6000mah 60c.. so will it be like 6.0A?

Yes, you can charge up to 6A, but there are some limitations, the IMAX B6 has 50W power this means that for a 2S battery (maximum voltage is 8.4) the charge will output a maximum of 50/8.4=5.9A, so probably it won't be able to fully suply 6A, this won't be a problem as the battery will charge slower (with 4-5A).

6A capacity / 5A charger rate = 1.2 hours, with balancing and chemical loses ~1.5 hours.

It was a clone some probably it didn't had the LiIon program, not a big issues for me. I don't have it anymore to check, I have upgraded to an 600W iSDT charger.
