One thing the video missed about the trip to hell with dr strange. Mephisto proposed a deal, leave with your mother, or dr strange, both will not be leaving with you. Doom betrays dr strange and mephisto releases his mother. In doing so, dooms mother is appalled at the actions of doom, leading her to disown doom, and try and trade back with strange. In doing that, she proved herself worthy of heaven, cleansing her soul once and for all. Doom and dr strange then escape. It’s speculation as to whether this was dooms plan the whole time, but never confirmed

What a lot of people don't realize about Thanos is not the Pinnacle of strong bad guys in the Marvel Universe he is arguably just the Baseline of what a strong villain looks like. Because oftentimes in comics he is getting soned unless he has The Infinity Gauntlet. Doctor Doom's line where he even asked if he has the gauntlet is one of the biggest reasons why Thanos goes unchecked is that no one's aware of what he's up to but if you understand where Thanos at at that point in time and if he does not have the gauntlet for a lot of Heroes when they're at their peak of their powers and are not dumb down to their most basic iterations can fight Thanos and kill him. Even in current Comics Thanos will not currently step to Thor if he does not have The Infinity Gauntlet.

Um not really? thanos has taken on the entire avengers before and kicked the asses of people like silver surfer, dr doom was amped when he killed thanos, dr doom in base is much weaker then thanos, he has straight up lost a 1v1 to the thing multiple times and has never fought evenly with skyfathers multiple times like thanos has and thanos fought thor very recently without the gauntlet and they were even, even though current thor has the odin force

When thanos got arrested? That comic is non canon So none of those examples really work and i can think of far more embarrassing loses for dr doom, like getting beaten by the thing multiple times, beaten by invisible women multiple times, getting beat up by luke cage etc Dr doom i would definitely say is more of a jobber, thanos examples are just more known publicly and no one wants to acknowledge or knows about dooms jobbing

If you want an example for what I mean when they want to show Avenger character is strong they don't just have them fight the human Tribunal because that is a huge leap in power so you have to go for the most grounded version of power and that is Thanos Thanos on his own in the hierarchy of who's strong is not that close to the top the reason why people like Thanos and Doctor Doom an even Galactus sometimes get shit on is because not only are they strong but the writers know you are familiar with how strong they are so they get shit on because if you replace a Doctor Doom killing Thanos with a beyonder to someone who only watches the MCU it would look like Doctor Doom just randomly killed a normal guy or alien

Not putting an awesome version of Dr. Doom onscreen. That's my favorite villain, and he hasn't been done full justice yet. The first Fantastic 4 was decent, but he wasn't really accurate. I want a league of villains lead by Doom (think ultimate alliance) or something equally as threatening to the heroes. He's badass, and he's got enough respect for life to actually protect civilians (secret war), which I love.
