It's weird how music is the only medium where it's "weird" to "fake" art, yet we watch countless movies, tv shows, games re-enacting real-related life events both in the name of fiction and non-fiction. I get how it can come across as corny heavy fronting, but it's a massive double standard. "Narcos is literally re-enacting real life related crimes and deaths where people actually grew up in cartels and had trauma, it's so fucked up they're not even about that life; they're actors. The point I'm making is that we tend to make the argument of "trauma" here for American gang-related violence, yet ignore the traumas off actual mafias, cartels, etc and the profits in these fields too. We glorify this kind of life; whether it be street gangs, cartels, or mafias in the entertainment industry. Our society is full of hypocrites. I knew Mabu was not "on it" after viewing his persona.
