I'm with you. The thing I've been telling people is the difference between him and MJ is that R Kelly was putting what he was doing in his music. Dude made sex music, and that oughtta be scary knowing who he wanted to have sex with. It's "easier" to separate the music and the artist when the artist isn't putting their sick desires in their music. It's just really gross to see people (probably just some wannabe edgy kids) in chat still saying to free him and memesforimdontai just keeps putting his music in stuff. Ok, if you still want to listen to his music you can, but you going out of your way to put multiple songs of his in different try not to get lit vids and meme vids is just overkill to me- especially after he was lawfully found guilty. Fact is, he married and abused a 15yro Aaliyah after her uncle/music manager pimp3d her out to him, had video evidence of peeing on a m1n0r, and apparently there was enough evidence to put him away for the other girls. Even if they wanna reject the other girls' stories, the first 2 cases are undeniable, and his music and music ability doesn't need to be glorified anymore.

The grown man admitted HIMSELF that he COMMONLY slept in the same bed with the boys. Even if he didn't do anything sexual, there is NOTHING- I want to make sure that it is clear NOTHING- okay with a grown man sleeping in the same bed and pillow forts with children who aren't even related to him while the other parents aren't present. The Jackson legal team was/is brutal, and this is the same behavior from people who have been pressed by people to settle or else things could get much worse. That is nearly always the case with those who have money and power. The parents stood NO CHANCE to someone who had the influence that Michael had/has. Common example: every time Beyonce plagiarizes something from someone. When the og creator finds out, they start off as very outspoken and start a whole campaign against Beyonce. They have it all on lock- even evidence that the public does not see (which I don't get why yall assume yall have seen all the evidence about Michael's case anyway). As soon as Beyonce fires back with legal action, the og creator is silent. That would be a sign of agreeing upon a settlement with an NDA that normally last between 2-3 decades. These people HAVE to settle because their legal teams don't compare to those who have money and power, and they would just drag the case until that og person was out of money. Michael's legal team was/is no different. It's just like- and this is what upsets me- how yall have no idea about typical victim behavior, so yall kept saying that the kid who kept retracting his statement was influenced by the parents. Even if that was so, the FACT is that the kid showed typical s.a. victim behavior- whether or not the mom had him learn that, which is HIGHLY unlikely. They are conflicted about being put in a position where they admired and/or loved someone but that someone did something that confuses them and makes them feel things they don't fully understand. They don't know if they should tell, hush, continue to love them, hate them, etc. Kids who go through that retrack their statements constantly due to that confusion. It is horrible, and the way the world didn't even give the child a chance just because it was Michael Jackson is of the UTMOST shame. It also makes no sense how yall were not willing to believe them when they accused Michael, but automatically believed them when they said they lied. If they are so untrustworthy, why believe them when they told a completely different story? Just because it was shot documentary style doesn't make it reliable, and nearly nothing new was presented in Leaving Neverland, so why believe them when they say they lie but not when they accuse? No MJ defender has yet to answer that question logically because, again, they could've lied about being liars. Is it not striking a nerve that they all came together after a certain amount of years to tell a completely different story? Hinting that an NDA expired. Even still, the Jackson's have A1 legal teams that knew the NDA would expire, so wouldn't there be a possibility that the families would've been pressed to say they lied so that all the heat that would've been on both Mj and R Kelly only went to R Kelly and the Jackson name could be cleared? There are still contradictions to be thought about from BOTH sides is what I'm getting at, and we know longer have that chance since Michael is not here. There are so many possibilities to this case that people overlooked because it was Michael, and the truth is not ONE of us outside of the courtroom knew how much or how little evidence was shown against Michael. I'm so convinced that the majority of people who are quick to throw out R Kelly but not MJ are teens and young adults who want to be passionate about this but just don't know enough. So many of yall didn't watch either documentary or just watched/heard social media talk about and play clips of R Kelly's because this is the same vague response I've gotten for the last 3 years- and that isn't an exaggeration. You aren't the first person I've seen with this same response. It's a group mindset, which is not okay in a situation like this. Be okay with saying someone- no matter if they made things that you love- needs to be reprimanded for their actions. Be okay with saying, "I need to learn more about BOTH sides of the story before I form MY OWN opinion on it." If you think that these are just regular humans and should be treated as such, then treat them that way not just when you want them to have compassion on them but when you see there may be a need for justice. You can't rightfully get mad when people want to critique or accuse them. You look at both sides carefully, scope out the undeniable facts that often both side agree on. Learn about verbal and nonverbal behaviors. Don't just throw something out because you don't understand or a group of others don't understand/aren't willing to. I'll end by repeating this. One thing that you cannot deny from both sides (other than the fact that a settlement was reached)- Michael and the parents and children- confessed is that it was very common for Michael to share a bed with them. If the parents say they lied about everything- including that, was Michael in on that lie with them?
