A deliciously entertaining program, and the students are to be congratulated for the high standard of their performances. It's easy to overlook inevitable cases of nervousness and of voices still to reach full maturity, but rather to sit back, enjoy the music, and be excited to hear that the future of opera is in good hands. Meanwhile, instrumental soloists, in this case an excellent violinist, are also continuing to emerge, exploring the rich tapestry of concerti. And last, but by no means least is the great work from the orchestra, which provided near-professional standard support throughout. Congratulations to all.
