Hi, even i tried all possible methods to fix but nothing worked for me. It’s been going on like this for months. Finally i thought of changing my apple id from phone number to email. And after restarting it worked for me! Even apple support team said it’s always better to set your id in email format otherwise this issue could happen

@@amunetjackson I spoke to the apple customer care guy he said that you need to have some amount of balance to send international sms through your SIM operator so that it can send a message to activate the number then it'll get linked and later it'll show up in your send and receive addresses. Then I found nabeel nawab's youtube video in which he explained how you are supposed to activate number to use iMessage and FaceTime.
