As IMGs, most people (if not all) leave their home country because of career options. So in my opinion, from a growth perspective, the USA is still the most desirable. Canada is also a desirable place for IMGs. I recently went to Australia (Sydney & Melbourne). I met a few IMGs. I liked the Australian work culture too!

Not only that, Canadian colleges even recognize some UK specialist training certificates as equivalent, along with a select few countries. I'm wondering if it's possible for Indian graduates to complete lets say, internal medicine training in the US, and then apply for PR, and then work in Canada - this way they would've have to repeat residency training? Wondering what's your thoughts on this.
