just as an fyi - Native American traditional clothing is considered Regalia. It's both culturally historic and beautifully intricate/interesting to look at. Many tribes don't like to alter their regalia - it's both a sign of them, as individuals, and also a deeply rooted visual account of where they came from (their specific tribes, etc.). I kind of respect the fact that Jaylene walked out in a highly specific, lowkey, monochromatic regalia. It fits her personal story of being native, trans and two-spirit - but it's also an ultimate serve, if we are being honest. The outfit tells us about her pre-drag race story (in visual terms), but in that moment, the runway was about her and her journey going forward. The outfit kind of became secondary, if that makes any sense. She's so poised and confident in who she is, that her inner beauty was allowed to shine - and I friggin loved it. (I probably didn't do a great job of explaining this, but I hope I made sense - lol) Love you both.

As far as having pit crew members as queens- I feel that it`s important to point out that there are only about 75 000 people in Canada, so many of us have to be two things just because there aren`t enough of us to go around. Like dentists who are also firefighters, or politicians who are also boxers, or nail techs who roast coffee.

I thought it was a great premiere but Tara being in the bttm both episodes made no sense to me like Brooke Lynn didn’t like her while Xana or Uma should’ve been in the bttm instead for the premiere. Makayla already is a pick for finalists. Had there been no top 2 for the lipsync Makayla would’ve won cause she was the best of the episode. Love the storyline how Perla was in the bttm and then won the next episode bc she absolutely deserved it. Jaylene is mother btw literally she’s so motherly.

Congrats to Darby for pronouncing Newfoundland correctly. It's a fabulous place - just not a lot of money or sunshine. A friend of mine bought a house on the Atlantic Ocean there for $25,000. Turned out to be literal. Alexis admitting her preferential treatment of hot men is charity, considering her terrible taste in men. Why are the Canadian judges not allowed to speak like humans? Your thoughts. Everything is a badly written soundbite, delivered with amatuer exclamation! We know that Brooke Lynn has more leg than personality - but Traci Melchor and Brad are TV hosting pros. Is this irony? Darby makes the IMHO world go round. WE can tell. ✨

On the Minhi situation, I kinda get it. For a lot of drag queens who may not have been considered "conventionally attractive" drag was how they felt beautiful and confident in themselves and their bodies. Seeing someone who already is very conventionally attractive do it "because it seemed fun" feels almost unfair. Even though having a knee jerk reaction of ew you shouldn't be doing drag because you are already a hot man is a bad thought to have, drag should be for everyone, I do completely get where you are coming from and it is refreshing seeing people be fully honest with their initial feelings. When you think about and address your feelings that is how you are able to grow and ideally work on fixing that mindset. Because like you guys kinda said, it isn't Minhi's fault, she wasn't the one who made you feel bad about yourself, but because she was able to benefit from her looks outside of drag it is hard for bitterness to not be present. Edit: hopefully this wasn't rude as that was not the intention at all, love you both!

the similarities of what Tara gets paid and is asked to do verses with the Toronto girls are paid and get asked to do are actually not that different. Toronto girls are asked to put on one woman shows and are paid peanuts. It is my genuine belief that most American performers would not be able to survive a full time Canadian girls schedule

Six numbers is too many? Don't try to work in Toronto. (I heard and have observed) You get like three half hour sets - so 4-6 songs in a row without a break. Wait half an hour while the other person performs. Then perform again for half an hour. Then again to fill 3 hours with 1.5 hours of performing split. After seeing it live I don't know how their hearts don't explode from exhaustion. Then they are like jumping into the splits, doing hand stands, ... and then sometimes the queens/kings ask the audience what songs they want performed. On vacation in Toronto my boyfriend and I were basically someone's whole audience (Or, nobody else was looking at the queen). So she pointed at us to ask what songs we wanted performed, and then she performed the song I asked for. Which suggests she knows the words to a huge number of songs she can do on the fly.
