12:50 if you use led you need to add deflectors/reflectors since the headlight housing is defined for a halogen light bulb. Otherwise you end up blinding other drivers since led doesn’t shine like a halogen bulb. Lookup the channel technology connections on headlights/taillights reflectivity with there design.

This is the correct answer. Stick with halogen. Can get them way cheaper online. Walmart rips off on halogen bulbs. Buy from rock auto or sumn If you want brighter headlights, buy some cheap thread in projector high beams and use those. I was able to easily screw in Profile Hi-Lens LED brights into my subaru. Could prob do the same with your car.

Water pipe underneath the intake manifold. There's two of them and you can peak near oil filter housing. If you haven't replace these water pipes, they're for your heater core, they may go while your drifting. Get a high performance water pump and an electric fan upgrade if you havent. Happy drifting. I also have the same wagon, and use to drift e30s and my 95m3 in the early 90s. It's nice to see younger folks still keeping the bimmer scene alive. Peace

11:48 e46’s have adaptive headlights. Thats what the linkage is on the right front control arm and right rear arms aswell.

I have a e46 sedan and for headlights I run 4k lumens LED lights. You have to buy an additional ring adapter that has a gap for the wire and tuck the wires but theyre very bright white and look more like modern bmws. Specially with the jdmtoy halos. Pretty much plug and play

Yep, it illuminates the parking lights on the side that the turn signal was set to. It puts it on really dim so when on unlit streets your less likely to get sideswiped.

Rear light was on because you must have accidentally put the right parking lights on. When the car is off you can turn the stalk to the side you want to leave your parking lights on. There's a second step on the stalk if you move it with a bit of force and that enables the parking lights. At least that's how it is on e36s

Normally with reflectors you're not supposed to go Led because blinding people and all that, so halogen is technically the way to go. That being said my e46 with reflectors has had led's in it for a year, never had any problems or complain and it even passed the inspection here where they test the headlight beam so I ain't blinding anybody.
