You could have someone make a custom bracket for a kick stand that could clamp onto the frame or the swing arm, then you’d have a kick stand and wouldn’t have to drill into anything on the bike

Carbon is unfortunately quite brittle when pressed on with weight on a concentrated point so they swingarm is probably best bet, even then I double hell do it bks it definitely looks cleaner without one

As for a kickback idea you can have a bracket made to bolt to itself instead of drilling through the frame just wrap around like a clamp with rubber bushings so you don’t crack the frame it’ll be strong to hold the bike

Funny, for me and my wife, the HP4 Race is the absolute easiest bike to ride. Hope you get comfortable on it soon. BTW, do yourself a favor, check the torque on the head tube nut. It should be 80 ft-lbs. It loosens up all the time, the one on my first HP4 Race fell off on the track and the tapered part that holds the steering angle came out. (Did you get the box of all the steering head and swingarm parts?) I check the head tube nut every day that I ride. And you might want to check the front caliper bolts as well, they should be 40 ft-lbs. I torque the caliper bolts and triple clamp bolts (18 ft-lbs) in between every session.

There are lots of epoxies that you can use to attach a kickstand bracket. Then you wont need to drill.

Yep, can't ride to save his life, scared to switch gears, riding the inside of every corner, scares himself with a wheelie, all over the mustard, won't lean off the bike, trying to take advantage of every straight away possible but falls on his face because he has to slow WAY down for the corner while the Ducati flies by because the Ducati knows how to enter a corner and use trail braking which ImKay will never learn because he won't take courses etc...

I don’t know why you bought the HP4. I mean it’s an amazing machine but the K67 is so close and has a kickstand, license plates, and normal maintenance. I do understand that sometimes it’s about generating content though.

The 2015/2016 gen3 S1000RR is as close to the HP4 as you'll get (legally lol) on the street. They're really very similar. The HP4 Race is mainly a (much!) lighter gen3.
