I saw your post on IG when you were at the track, I didn’t know you crashed. If you take a bike to the track you have to be ok with that bike being crashed. So many crashes happen at the track. I’ve crashed before and it sucks. Wish you a speedy recovery. Just built a track bike depending on your budget and learn as much as possible and take your time. Keep posting videos !

Good to see you out and about! I hope all is well. Hey everyone, I rented Kay's S1000RR last Monday and it was a blast! I was gentle with his baby. Only got to 120 MPH and didn't go above 9,000 RPM. Yes, I'm a wimp compared to Kay but then so is just about everyone else. I just didn't want to hurt it and it was plenty fun enough. Yo Kay, I look forward to meeting you in person soon and maybe catch a ride with you... but I'll be far behind.

@@mrtree1368 Ha ha, duh yeah, I leaned a fair amount. :-) I didn't ride like a dork. I just didn't push the envelope much. But it's all subjective. I split lanes big time and smoked everyone from the lights and looked like a badass. Stuff that would freak many people out and they wouldn't touch. But did I ride like Kay, or TheKilaCam or Brian_636 or MaxWrist, or other top notch riders, no, not at all. Especially not while on someone else's bike. There's such a wide spectrum of ability and skill between riders. I'm slightly above average but nothing great. Not a squid, not a dork, but not Valentino Rossi either.

Not sure totally the details of your accident but I would definitely self reflect on how it happened, and what you could've done differently. Develop smarter riding habits and stick with thresholds. Common rider mistakes generally are due to poor judgement skills and or pushing yourself past your limits. Please ride safer man for your own sake.... All love, glad you're okay in the end.

After watching his older track day videos he 1000% needs to go to a few track day beginner days where they teach you how to ride on a track with body position, how to choose your lines, throttle contro,l shifting etc. Yea money can buy an R1M or M1000RR but it means nothing when 400's and 600's are gapping you on the track.

Everything is about calculating the risk because you're right, an accident can happen anytime. As for not needing a lecture, this dude absolutely needs a lecture. When he crashed the Panigale, he was doing the same stupid stuff on street that he does now. When he went to the track, I thought he would learn. But no, still doing the same stupid stuff on street.
