Could you automate the rocket parts in a factory? Possibly have each rocket type have its own auto production section and have the launch platform on top or in a courtyard of sorts. I think that would be a pretty cool build, then you could see how many rockets it takes to break the game 😂

Kibs ya need to setup a global command center looking area. I think that having all the manual crafting areas are important as well incase there is an issue with power.

T3 ore extractors are an absolute godsend and T5 drills are comically large (managed to cram 20 of them into the iridium cave)

Something I'm doing for my "Bio Base" is having outdoor gardens situated on the roof and the auto crafters pull from them instead of the indoor growers. If you're wanting to go with a green aesthetic, you might like that layout. 🤔

3:15 you beat the game [...] the map doesn't matter, etc. YES it still DOES matter. You can't extract anything anywhere on the map with the Extractor 3. It just enables you (helps for automation) to only extract a specific ore. But nope you won't get alloy for example anywhere. You just happened to set those in the crater, which is a place known for that : it has mostly all ores in one place.

What to do with the main base? Prep a lizard dogo farm for when animals are added, ;) But seriously, just scale the terraforming tech out the wazoo. You can create stacked levels of those frame foundations to make a giant heater tower. Unfortunately the drills and spreaders are limited by the land area. Make a giant launch complex that makes all the parts for rockets

Megabase idea: Automate fabric, and use it to make furniture and decorations. Then make a museum to show where we were and where we are now.

May as well do cloth. Make a super lavish personal room for grins... Have a massive line of Heaters like they're nuke cooling towers... When you were building that one base on the hill over the rock, would've loved to have seen a single face for it. Also, check out all of your tech trees. Remember to go into the first bio lab as that has tech trees you don't see on the screen you can install on a desk. don't forget to use a microchip and decode it... there's an update there. You may have to expand your bio automation as there's now a tier 2 mutagen... and THAT thing lets you get top tier bugs and top tier trees. There's like 1 grade better that what's possible, but still! Who cares when they're ALL that top tier?

How you do some stuff outside the megabase? Put down some tree planters and flowers growers everywhere there's green ground. Turn that pound into a proper marsh! Put a forest next to that lake! Make the waterfall into a rainforest resort!

Lately, i cleared up the Sulphur Fields. They served as drills, heaters and energy source areas for months but after making mushrooms trees, I chose to grow them there.

not worth the effort, but one thing i am slowly doing is making food growers and/or outside growing beds for every food seed i have. i dont need to, but there are so many seeds in this game i feel compelled to use them all, so you could have a floor growing food just because you can. i am also doing something similar with every flower seed, however it could be more useful to mutate them all into tree seeds and cover the world in tree growers. so if like me you have cabinets full of flower seeds you could make some rooms full of flower growers, though i think you need ice for the t2(indoor) flower grower and i cant remember if you stockpiled any in your base.

Place highest tier Tree Spreaders all over your base so that you can turn your mega base into a jungle base! Also you could use the base for launching tons upon tons of rockets with all the automation.

Definitly build a huge teleporter Hub, so you never have to walk anywhere ever again. Also, there could be a manual crafting area for emergencys, although power in this game doesn't really break, so maybe that's not necessary. And maybe one big Recreational space? IDK how much decoration items are in the game, but a penthouse in the highest floor of the building would be very nice.

Then after 2 years I gotten Planet Crafter. And I was scared. Because of how dark it was in the ships. So I remembered that you had videos! And I felt safe when I was watching you play. Ore extractor 3 is expensive, doesn't store as many materials, and can be slow. One way to get the most out of it, particularly if you already have teleporters and extractor 2s set up, is to set up 2 ore extractor 2s in a resource zone add an ore extractor 3 set to aluminum and then build an auto crafter to make super alloy. This will let you get the most out of your ore extractor 2s by removing all the junk.

Kibitz the AC doesn't have a limit up and down just side to side. Meaning you can make anything as high and it will still craft

Might as well set up a "little" B&B with a few hundred rooms, and a PW power station to power all those phone chargers. Maybe a maze you can look at from up high (fly mod or spam F4). Very nice automation.

Not heard of this game before and from the opener I was hopeful, however it seem after watching that this is Satisfactory without the fun of the Logistics, Routing and Organization, which for me at least is the best part, so Unsatisfactory. I will keep an eye on it though as it seems to show some promise!

There is way too much grind before getting to automation that it isn't even worth it. It's like he said; he already beat the game so he might as well use automation to get everything. I think there should have been smaller forms of automation implemented before the T3 Ore Extractor and Autocrafter. I've heard of algae automation but at the point in the game I'm at (7 hours) I don't even have algae yet. I got this game because I was hoping that the grind would be worth it in the sense that the game transitioned into manually running around collecting stuff to creating machines/factories that collects/crafts for you. Just disappointing that this doesn't happen until significantly later on into a save.
