What does it mean when they return your application , refund your application.The rejected the first time due to lack of sufficient fund for the length of stay, two weeks later my relative applied again but now with an sponsorship letter,they return their application without any message

True. It's however not wise to use up a big chunk of time, one can be away with a permit in one sitting. one doesn't know the future. This comes to bite back later. There is also the 6 months rule to keep status, if he didn't tell the authorities he was going for so long.This is why I asked.Its good to touch base then return.Also my advice to him not enter schengen through the strict territory if he extends his stay.But now Germany is checking all it's boarders
