IMM 1344 is the fifth form we are filling in this video series. We have addressed all common issues such as how to sign this form digitally, how to validate the form without any errors, how to write N/A, and what to do if a section does not apply to you.
This video is to guide you all who wants to fill IMM 1344 form without any confusion.
I am not any authorized or licensed IRCC official. I sponsored my wife to Canada recently , and this is how I filled my form IMM 1344. My wife became Canadian PR in 2022.

Great video man, I have a question regarding ' Sponsor Name' as I had full name written in Last name of my passport it came the same way for PR. Total name written in "Surname" how shall I proceed in this application ? Option 1: Write full name in Last Name Option 2: Write full name twice in both First name & Last Name. Please do advise 😇

Hello, thanks for watching. So i would do the same what I did in the video. Fill all the details, validate to generate the barcode. These barcodes have your filled details. So if you change any details on this form, generate the barcode again. Once you are done, and bo changes are needed in the form, save it as pdf, and now in that daved pdf, your barcode is fixed. It cannot be changed, and you cannot edit any information. Just write N/A wherever needed. And do the signature. Hope this helps. Please like share and subscribe 🙏😊

Hello thanks for watching. If you intend to stay in Canada during this process, you can opt for Inland application which is Spouse living in Canada (Canada Class). If you choose to apply as family class, your application will be considered "outland" and you will not be able to apply for an open work permit, and legally cannot work. Hope this helps. Well I was confused too. I think it should be the sponsor (my) name. Because this pdf form is for sponsor, and the digital forms belong to PA. If you look at the dob year that will tell you who is sponcer. One dob is 1994 and another is 1995 . I hope that helps

After validating do we need to save as a simple pdf then use Ab thing in adobe and type N/A and upload it ? Will it damage the parcodes ? because everytime i open the 1344e it always says do you want to savev changes and if yes, validation number gets changed . but after validation also if we clicked the floppy icon , that also changes the validation number. I swear IMM 1344e is a real Wizard keeps spinning my brain. HELP !!!

Fill everything completely then validate and then save it as simple pdf, then your barcode number will be fixed. Then you can add n/a using simple pdf editor and save the form, that will not change the barcode number.

If you applying through the sponsorship application (meaning one of the partner is already a PR or Citizen here in Canada), then you need to create a profile on IRCC website, just like how it is shown in the video. And then it will give you the list of forms you need to fill. Also check in the application package to know which forms to be filled. Also while submitting the application, the PR partner must reside in Canada. (PR sponsors the main applicant). Hope this is helpful. Please like share and subscribe:)

Not able to download or not able to open? These imm forms only open in adobe pdf software. If not able to download, go to the link again from official IRCC page. Make sure you don’t download the older version. Hope this helps. Please like share and subscribe:)

I see some people say they print and hand sign and scan and send it to their spouse to print and hand sign before uploading. Does this affect the application or is writing the name okay. Previously you had to print, and sign, scan and upload but now this process is completely digital so you don’t have to print any document you can sign digitally as shown in the video.
