For IMM5476e SECTION D, Do the spouse need to sign in the "Signature of Spouse or common-law partner for sponsorship application"? Like, for example, form for my mother - the signature is my Mother, and my father will also come with her to Canada, should my father sign that ""Signature of Spouse or common-law partner for sponsorship application"? I am the representative and the sponsor.

In practicality the answer is no, you would not need this form. But the catch is, the sponsor cannot call ircc asking for status update. Emails communication should be fine.

Thank you brother, I just havve a tiny question. I am able to validate the immigration form 1344, but I upload this form on the portal form after validating it, the QR disappears. How can I fix this issue or technical error? How to add the immigration form 5536 : Authorization to disclose information on in the application form since there isn't such form available in the form? Is appliying for CSQ later will lead towards delaying for PR or we can apply for PR before CSQ without it affecting the delayment in the process?

I am not sure because there are different immigration programs that use the same form, but as far as I know they have to be hand-signed.

You are right. For visitor visa only your each parent will sign the field, 'spouse signature' will be left blank.

@@suivarghese7652 Yes i made mistake while filling my form as primary applicant ."UseRepresentative" should not be used while own application . Only for spouse and kids we should select "UseRepresentative".

@@anshxi6650 Yes issue got resolved for me .I made mistake while filling form for myself .I selected "Use Representative" in my form also which was wrong once I removed , it was fine. Select "Use Representative" only for Spouse and kids

Thank you for detailing your question. No, you will only have just each parent sign the form. Spouse would not need to sign the form.

Physical signature is valid for any program and does not hamper application. E signature is only valid for certain type of programs like spousal sponsorship etc.

If you are using it for spousal sponsorship application then yes you can digitally sign. Manual signature is still valid. However, for other visa programs refer to right user guides to know what works. Hand sign always works.

@@HamzaAlih use of representative form can be used for various different type of immigration programs and NOT JUST FAMILY SPONSORSHIP. A generic response to ‘can you sign it digitally?’ The answer is still No. If you look closely to other applicants experience it is safer to submit hand-drawn signature. Having said that, it is imperative for individuals to know the superseding guidelines (which I have iterated on multiple occasions) is ALWAYS follow the guidelines specific to the program you are applying for.
