29:15 This situation is so interesting from my noob-ish perspective and i couldn't help thinking about it a few times during the video. Offensive consideration : By throwing the circle red five to try getting dora green dragon for last pair you really reduce the change of being able to ron because an opponent would consider the strong risk of discarding a dora honor if it wasn't already discarded once very early. But at the same time you have a chance to tsumo, can still ron the disconnected and value of hand is increased in the process which is important considering the point difference. Defensive consideration : mentioned it just before but discarding the green dragon at this point already carries the heavy risk of someone already having two copies of it and instantly poning and getting the cookie jar for free. I probably would have done the same mainly because of the risk of discarding the dora honor, but the situation was so peculiar with it being a pair wait, red five vs green dragon dora, disconnected player, etc..., that i had to reassess it a few times.
