@@FlyMeToThePhilippinesHi Rob, I just saw the latest "Filipina Pea" video talking about the new law stating that Filipinos/Filipinas are financially responsible for their parents' and siblings' dispensable items, including education. That may have some effect on Ex-Pat husbands' money as well. This COULD cause a stampede out of the P.I., or at least cause a lot of Ex-Pats to reconsider the P.I. as a preferred option for retirement.
@denismansfield88769 ай бұрын
@xavierkoolat6926 ... Make sure you get a prenup. Take time to think through your life and a marriage as it pertains to the money you bring into a relationship. Also, while working on a prenup with a very good lawyer, redraw your will and/or trust if you want money to go to anyone in your native country. That episode by Pea was to bring awareness of the laws, but Gracie explained several approaches with a prenup ... and there are many other options. American men should understand the consequences of divorce in the States, yet the Philippines.

If you go to any café in America, especially in the country towns early in the morning, there’s only old single men there. So very sad and unfortunate that there are literally no women in the areas and those that are here. Don’t know how to think like a femininewoman

My Filipina is in the US with me now. We will build our new home on the 20 acres we bought last year in the Philippines. She has worked since 35 days after she arrived in the US. We have saved all of my money and live on her money. My wife is 32 years younger. She had never been on a date, never been kissed, would never hold hands with a man and was obviously a virgin. She said I preserve myself for my husband. So I got an unused, unbelievably awesome beautiful wife that absolutely adores me. The greatest improvement in my life. We have been married 5 years now.

I'm 30 years younger than my husband. We own houses in both countries and lived back and forth as the kids grew up. Three of us are dual citizens. For education and jobs, the USA is by far the better place for kids. For finding wives, duh. The Philippines. With the kids on scholarships to college now and my husband retired, I started working. It was amazing how easy it was to get the job I wanted, how fast I was promoted, and how much I am making! We are investing more than ever before. So we are not in a hurry to leave, we have a homestead in remote rural Alaska. A beautiful place to have a family. The boys have seen girls in both countries and have no intentions of getting mixed up with American girls.

Surigao del Sur, built a one if a kind lookout tower that we stay in on vacation till she retires and we build a house. She was a 31 year old virgin and I was 55 when we met by chance. Going strong. After searching for a year, I believe I have found her (fingers crossed). Unfortunately, I cannot retire for two more years, so we will have to endure the LDR thing, but I will visit her in December to confirm our commitment to each other. I also will permanently relocate from the states to that approximate area. I can only hope that I have 1/2 of the success you have experienced. I will actually be in Cagayan in December and will continue to follow you and stay in touch. I would be happy to meet you and invite you both to dinner when there. Until then, keep them coming.

Another wonderful story Rob. The important thing for both of us was finding a life partner. Not only someone to be with, but someone who helps us to be our best selves and we do do the same for them. So many folks on this site comment on Chrissy's beauty and she is indeed a beautiful woman, but it's all of the rest of her qualities that make you such good partners, she is smart, sweet, caring, fun, and hard-working. I am excited for you both that with her son coming to live with you soon, the picture will be complete. Add in the wedding and it's even better. I remember having dinner at a nice restaurant on my first or second trip to be with Mylene. There were three older grizzled men (Yep, like me, but a bit older) and three pretty young Filipinas. It was almost painful to watch as the men only talked with each other and the women did the same. Pity the poor woman between two of the men who looked miserable and said not a word during the entire meal. I can't imagine them having the rich life you and Chrissy or Mylene and I share. To men looking to find what Rob and I have- Finding someone to share your life, all of your life with should be the goal. Don't be superficial and only select a woman by her looks. To live your best life you need more than a pretty hood ornament. Can you really have deep conversations, can you find some common interests? Are you willing to try new things that she likes and for her to do the same? Do you like her family, will she like yours? That was a big one for me because Mylene came here to live here in California with me. At first, my adult and teenage kids were apprehensive that Dear Old Dad was just looking to find some sexy young woman from an exotic place. It took a couple of years, but Mylene won them over because she is such a warm, loving, and hard-working woman...and she cared about them. I don't think they view her as a stepmom so much as someone they care about and can talk to and laugh with.

WOW. Thanks, Paul, for your beautifully expressed feelings, thinking, observations, conclusions, and personal history all combining to cause me to reconsider my own situation. (I'm 83.) Nearly all the other men making videos and/or Comment(ing) and/or Reply(ing) to such videos always emphasize the visual aspect of a possible relationship that they say they want. "She" should be slim, pretty, etc., etc. Your Comment includes other, MORE important qualities (such as "smart, sweet, caring, fun, and hard-working") that REALLY make or break any relationship after the first 8 months to a year of most any relationship. Because I'm "old," I'd be insane to want a relationship with a 20-year-old woman. But, with a loving, caring, more mature woman, I might have a chance. While I'm in good health, "time's a-wastin'," (as an old cartoon character "Snuffy Smith" used to say), and I'm re-considering moving to the P.I. Beautiful would include someone with a heart shining brighter than the warmest smile. So, the way I see it, if I can offer something of value to a future relationship, whether it be a financial advantage, wisdom, a solid rock to anchor on, or even just a partner for daily activities and camaraderie, there just might be a place for me in the P.I. Thanks for your feedback on Rob's great videos.

I hope to be getting married this year with an online wedding since I want to avoid the paperwork hassle with my 3 divorces. My 2 weeks went very well with my Filipina prospect. Day 4 I got shortness of breath, long story short I waited to go to the ER when I got back on Tuesday, doctors thought it might be an embolism lucky it was just bacterial pneumonia! Those first 2 days I stayed in a cheap hotel in Cebu my mistake. I really did not feel sick though probably since I’m on high levels of vitamin D. I do understand that it may only be a few but that is all it takes to scare people away but your story is so heart warming for all the guys out there to find happiness again. I am sorry about the family issues. I will try to avoid them but if it makes YOU happy that is all that counts. I will get back to my watching videos of the two of you and learn as much as I can. I do not plane on moving there but I definitely want to be happy again. Thank you STAY HAPPY!!!!

Robert Chrissy has a good head on her shoulders and I think deep down she thought it was a good idea to wait a year before getting married also

It's a joy to watch your videos, really uplifting. I just discovered your channel today and I keep delaying my motorcycle ride because I just want to watch one more. As with anything worth doing there will be some challenges but you found a gal who as far as I can tell rolls with the punches and has your back, and vice versa. Your combined stories are really inspirational.

Very interesting video. Im verry happy for the both of you. I also hope to find someone wonderful in se asia when i retire next year. Videos like yours inspire me to look for my next adventure in life. For guys like me that arent drinkers/partiers its very difficult to meet people in the west.

All one needs is money and that is what most guys don't have. Obviously you do. Good for you my friend living it up in style. An old friend of mine is a millionaire and miserable as hell. I keep telling him to go to pinay land, but he does not listen. Not everyone has style.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I enjoyed the Philippines 2017, 18 & 2020 for 3 months each year. Locked out philippine by COVID; I discovered Medellin, Colombia. I’m age 80 and was in 2021 introduced to my two svelte fit girlfriends ages 33 & 40 in Medellin (MDE). I visit MDE for 8 months each year and separately date one or the other , exploring Colombia , sharing joy, love and happiness. Haven’t yet felt ‘tampo’ jealousy silence periods.

And pregnant, but not by me. Talk about PTSD. I get these heartbreaking feelings that need to be fulfilled.. And the cure is there.
