@Mischief, did you know about the interaction with a tinkers workbench on a coke oven? If you place a tinkers workbench (Assuming you have the mod installed) next to a coke oven it sees all 4 input and output slots in this order - coal/log in, coke coal out, empty bucket in, creosote bucket out. This is extremely useful for making treated planks because you can set up the wood and then just shift click the bucket about to quickly make loads of treated wood so long as the oven has creosote in it.

Once I learned (from your other video) that the Assembler could use fluid from its internal tank in place of buckets, it was a godsend for dealing with my creosote. I pumped it all into there and made 750 buckets' worth of treated wood (yes, that's 600 planks). :D

Sadly you can't use the oil to automatically put the fluid into furnaces....

3 buckets in the coke furnace. Attach a tinkers work table attached to it. Then add a chest for wood and treated wood. Add the planks like chests and shift click the creosote buckets and so on. Cheap and easy without a tank. Hope I’ve helped

I figured out that I can use a fluid pump and used a fluid tank from another mod but its good to see your designs I might use them in another modpack

If not mistaken, you can also set it up to be your power supply, ran a tree farm to operate said system in 1.7.10 (also used charcoal quite extensively for ease of production especially with Buildcraft).

U can stick huge tanks in actual oven ALM8 can hold tonnes buckets easy to move replace plump down where ever

I tried putting the items in by putting a chest on a hopper on the oven but it didn’t work. It ONLY takes coal through the front. Didn’t know that 😅

Why would you want to NOT waste creosote oil? The stuff builds up endlessly and it has one use. Also, do you want efficient creosote storage? Pump the stuff into wooden barrels. Once full they stack just fine. One chest holds 27x64x12 buckets of creosote. Now you can destroy that chest to make room for stockpiling more creosote.

It has at least three uses. Treated wood Flamethrower fuel, which deals more damage than ethanol Furnace power. Yes. You can burn down your creosite oil in furni

Double up on the coke furnaces (two on the front and two on the back) and they take up a 7x9 square. Worth it if you can afford the space.

Hey my fluid pump doesn’t seem to be extracting the creosote from my coke oven. I placed it in the same spot and kept the default input and turned on the lever and nothings happening the creosote stays in my oven. I’ve tried replacing it but to no avail and relogging on the server didn’t change anything.

I’m in the 1.16 version but as far as I’m aware nothing has changed about the fluid pumps everything seems the same and I can’t find anything about this issue online. And yes the pump does show that it’s getting the red stone signal.

Your videos have been amazing, thank you for all the effort. I am very new to minecraft and have been enjoying the new experience with mods. They unfortunately took out that tank for creosote oil that you showed toward the beginning and I am up to my neck in it. Any ideas for getting rid of it? I am using the valhasia 3 mod pack.

It's a multiblock structure. Read the engineers book on how to build it, or search the wiki.

Is there a way to get the coke coal to a chest without using hoppers at the bottom? See my coke ovens are on top of each other so I can only get access to the bottom ones

Question about the actual pipe does each coke oven need to have a separate to actually work I'm asking because I've been trying to setup it and it doesnt seem to work with just one singular pipeline connected to 5 coke ovens

Im having trouble getting fluids out from the tank, when I put a pipe from either the top or bottom of the tank (from the holes) and connect it to an assembler in this case not all of the creosote oil moves to the assembler. What am I doing wrong here?

I think that is just for pumping fluids from the world, like from a lava lake.

Correct, picking up fluids from in-world requires at least LV power, 256 RF/t by default.

I seriously doubt you haven't fixed the problem, but just in case you just need a lever and you have to wack the fluid pump on one of the 4 sides with the Engineer's hammer to change input output. Otherwise it should work perfectly fine.

i fucking love this mod but jesus christ the annoyance of "hey i want coal coke oh shi thats full of oil wth do i do with it?" tried to set up a oil drum big thingie like in video but it just refuses to freaking suck the oil out so i gave up broke the oven and remade it deleteing the oil couldnt be bothered, Short story anyone with lack of attention span lack of dealing too many words or just having ADHD / AUTISM or all of the above trying to figure stuff out is painfull
