Playing with this mod for the first time. All the forums posts and wiki pages have been overwhelming. Your video is informative, thorough - and you don't waste the viewers time with annoying antics that a lot of youtubers indulge in. Only halfway through the first video of this set I already knew so much more than I had stumbled upon in tinkering. I was going crazy trying to figure out reasonable creosote storage. Hey, great concept. Much better than the rushed Mod spotlights others do. If I may, I'd like to suggest a mod to cover: Project Red: 2. There's so much there that people don't use, like the transportation system. Then because of that, there's not really any great tutorials covering the mod using real world examples. It occurs to me now that the jump cushions would be handy for assembling a lightning rod without needing a mod that adds flight: just throw down some cushions around it so you don't go kersplat when you inevitably lose your footing.

This mod is really cool! If Mojang did anything useful they would have released scaffolding blocks to vanilla Minecraft already. Building in survival totally sucks.

Jump cushions are probably also a good MLG block. Completely negates fall damage and no risk of accidentally picking it back up like water.

Love this series and have watched a few of the videos in the playlist so far. Just wondering, so I don’t watch something outdated, do you know if Immersive Engineering has changed a lot since 1.10/1.12, or will these videos still be helpful for 1.18.2? Recipes don’t matter ’cause JEI. Just in general, in terms of how everything works and the progression and stuff.

It's about 80% accurate at this point but I still get a lot of comments saying they found it very helpful in the most current versions as well. If you go in knowing there are improvements and changes then it can still be very informative for most things as the core hasn't really changed.

I appreciate this video in general, but way too much of it is taken up by going over crafting recipes. We don't need these, you can get them in game with NEI or via the book. Direwolf20's spotlights almost completely omit recipes but are still valuable videos. I just think that including recipes bogs the video down with too much unnecessary info and makes them longer than they need to be.

Mischief of Mice they do work together quite well together but the only problem I am having is with steel production. The steel added by ancient warfare seems to cause a conflict with the steel in I.E. making it so that the blast furnace doesn't produce anything. Like there's no progress made despite how much fuel I may give it and time. I kinda don't like it because it makes acquiring steel a bit too easy given the ancient warfare method is just and an iron ingot and coal in a crafting bench. I guess what makes up for the ease at which you can steel is the fact that you get no slag thus hindering your concrete production somewhat.

+Nano Hazzard Very much. Recipes, size, function are varied and many are different though similar. A few are the same. If you are used to 1.7 then you will be very pleased with 1.10/1.11 changes.

the furnace you built from coke bricks... how did you get it to give creasote? I have put in both buckets and coal blocks but all it does is change the grey fire icon to orange.

You need to wait a long time for that orange flame to burn down. At the end, creosote is output. You can see it faster by using coal instead of coal blocks.

In some packs The One Probe works only on helmets or with a remote in hand. Alternately you can sometimes craft a The One Probe paper and change your settings. Beyond that, the configs can be changed but then that usually changes the pack intention.

By default the hotkey is "R" for the recipe and "U" for the use.
