they should release a 'spray paint' tool since the angles when building mean that you can never really see anything. you could spray the area you need place the piece on, or spray around a post so you know where it needs to be. Failing that, would jumping out of build mode, then shooting where you need to place it, then quickly jump back into build mode and place it on the bullet hole - or don't, whatever

I really like this pylon build. Scrappy but something you could live in and awesome views. Side note, I was able to place items under the windmill generator by placing the new nuka girl area rug down first. I wonder if that would help you at the 23:16 mark.

This does look cool, but my question is - where does it dump you when you fast travel to it? I've built bases on top of cliffs before that dump me right at the bottom of the cliff. Also fast travelled to base before that's dumped me underwater lol.

It puts you nearby. You can move your camp module to change your fast travel spot away from the cliff

@@BadgerOff32 yeah! You will spawn to the north west of it I believe, and you (the camp owner) will also spawn somewhere different than other people, so test with a friend for best results :)

@@BadgerOff32 they have those in workshops, but they removed them from camps when they added vendors because people were making trap camps with them. There’s a way to get them in your camp but I’m on the fence about showing it in a video for the aforementioned reason 😅

The easiest way is to place a conduit on a rug. Attach wire, move rug once. After that you can place the rug anywhere and it won’t break the wire. You can do the same thing with wall conduits if you use a sign instead of a rug

This is NOT in adventure mode right... I do my camps in adventure mode and cant seem to find any way to toggle snapping on and off and so unable to rotate stuff as I want as once you get within range you cant make any adjustments as they just snap to each other - same when I was trying to follow your boat tutorial with foundations - seems near impossible as they just keep sticking together unless making very large angles.... would be nice to be able to free rotate stuff without clipping in adventure mode.

This is adventure, yes - only certain items have toggle snapping in adventure, fences mostly. I wish they let us apply that to everything and relaxed building restrictions because it’s a pain getting things lined up.

For the life of me I could not make the staircases on this work which really bummed me out cause i would've loved to actually build this

@@misterchurch666 might be kind of hard to explain but basically I built those first 3 staircases going down and then that L shaped playform then did the 3 stairs that go back up and all the upper wood floors but then the next step where you delete the original 3 stairs to add the bridge connection I couldn't do, it just wouldn't let me delete those stairs if that makes sense.

SO.. is this game worth Buying again? I Love FO4, everyone has said its Just Like it.. which for how I play its JUST FINE, But then again they say/some people/ say it still sucks? The game is great, but a lot of veteran players have a love/hate relationship with it because of how Bethesda has run the game, when we know how much better it could be. The building aspect is my favorite thing in the game, especially the ability to build all over the map, so it could be something you enjoy! Build mechanics are a LOT different than in 4, some stuff is way more restricted, but other things ae possible that are not in 4. There are RP groups in the game too, it all depends on if it's your vibe and if you are willing to deal with the frustrating way the devs "fix" things
