This video made my day 😊 I am an International Student now and I have 5 years of work experience back in India. I and my husband struggled a lot to build our life in India because of many reasons. Finally, I decided to move to Canada as a student. There was a drastic shift from what I expected and what is the reality but I still see a light of hope here. I am struggling here to get a part-time, emotionally drained because my husband is not here with me and I am struggling with financial liabilities however still I believe that the decision to come to Canada is the best. I am a doctor from abroad and have everything ready to apply for permanent residency, nevertheless, we decided to go back to our country. Even though I have 2 years to stay legally working here. Life isn’t any easier here . And if you are a professional, is easier to win the lottery than being recognized here. Plus systematic racism makes it even harder.

It's great that you shared your experience here and many people who are struggling in Canada may find a ray of hope taking cues from you. However the reality is dire as Canada's housing, job and healthcare sector has been stretched thin due to its ridiculous migrant numbers. Even folks who are citizens have been fleeing in great numbers recently. Canada has allowed diploma/degree mills to allow admissions to ridiculous number of students promising false hopes and dreams, beyond their capability to provide a quality education and housing. The government did not control this. They are literally ripping off of these poor students and migrant population while there's not enough opportunities and Canada is heading towards downturn around mid 2024. Real estate developers profiteered from the lack of housing resulting in an inflated housing market, rent in Toronto and Vancouver are outrageously high, even students small cities in Ontario are feeling the crunch. Any one with a middle class background dreaming of coming here and making it big totally relying on student loans and part time jobs are in for a rude awakening once the reality hits them. Choose your specialization, University carefully. Ensure you have enough money to complete the degree even if you don't get a part time job.

Funny that you think content creators are not talented or educated enough. You remind me of my dad - I passed off as the University Rank Holder from India's most competitive university and is currently the Director of Knowledge Management in an IT company. But am still such a loser in my dad's eye. You are right on this though - Anyone with a strong will to make things happen, will surely flourish anywhere!
