When I was around 7 years old a man with his kids and wife yelled this at my mom in Walmart because she was talking on the phone in Spanish to her mother. She told me to go get some cotton swabs and when I came back my mom was cussing him out in English . I don’t understand why people mind hearing other people speak their own native tongues like were not harming you and I was born here so this is my country.

I say “go back to yours.” Only natives are true 100% blooded Americans (edit: I know natives aren’t “American blooded” per se, and that they migrated from Asia, but I’m using the term America for the land we know it as today) Everyone in America is technically an immigrant. Technically, many Latinos are back in their country, because their ancestors are the natives whose land was taken from them
@Psychol-Snooper
@Psychol-Snooper 5 жыл бұрын
Did you know that "native" just refers to where you are born? If you are born in the US you are 100% native to the US. Also very few Native Americans are 100% Native American, and an have as little at 18% (or less) indigenous ancestry and be full members of their respective tribes as well as being recognized by the federal government. But if you are looking for a reason to hate someone their percentage of blood is a good reason.

Angry Applesauce Yeah I know, I’m just pointing out how hypocritical it is to tell someone else to go back to their country when America is made up of different cultures mixing here, yknow? @NumbTesticle - If I steal your possesion it's no longer yours by right? Statements like that are objectively false. The trail of tears wasn't a fight. Carrying smallpox and eliminating half the populace was not a fight. You seem to think that natives were hyper aggresive and deserved to get shafted by the government, but no, they were the primary inhabitant before the Separatists came, bringing diseases with them. The first skirmishes started because the Englishmen raped/stole/fought with natives, not the other way around. Get your backwards logic in check.

They are an American citizen, therefore they are American if they identify as American. Make sure to be accepting. My teacher once told us that when he lived there in the US, his teacher would tell him to move back to where he came from because the teacher thought that Pacific Islanders were all dumb and didn't deserve to be in his class of stick-up-the-asses. I could tell it really affected him; he would always teach us the important of respecting each other no matter where you come from and he valued the differences in all our cultures, and integrated it into his examples whenever he would teach (he taught world history). He has since passed away, and his story about the US will give me my expectation for when I eventually go over there

I remember when I was an exchange student for 3 weeks in Dallas, I stayed at a Native American house. Once we where going out for dinner other guests were yelling at them how much they hate immigrants and that they should go back to their country. Their faces after they told them they are native and they should go back to England were unbelievable funny

my friend's parents took them 14 years to get their citizenship in the USA. in the meanwhile they had jobs, had a house, had kids, paid taxes, etc here in america until they were finally approved for citizenship after 14 years. so technically they were living as immigrants during all that time and some people still have the nerve to say "come here legally" like dude, you don't know how the process works

the people who say "move back to your own country" should be sent to their country of origin and have their own country once they find out you are from America to tell them to go back home, and they try to explain that they were originally from there and watch how their country turns on them for their behavior of treating people. its just a few people that make the rest of us all look bad, but there are more good people than bad here in America.

One day when I was walking around in a grocery store, with my mother. I was on the phone with one of my friends who lives in Новосибирск. I was speaking Russian to him, because he didn’t understand any other language. A lady walks up to me, taps me on the shoulder, and say in a polite yet snobby voice “Could you please stop, you’re scaring my children.” A replied back to her in French, because at the time I wasn’t very good at English. Basically what I said was “I’m sorry, I don’t understand.” And I’m dead serious when I say this, she looked at me, looked at my mother, and then said “Filthy Gremans.” I burst out into laughter and replied in my best English, “Miss I am very sorry, but I’m Swiss.” Her daughter, who looked to be about 3 or 4 said “Cheese boy!” My mother heard that and laughed. The lady then said to her daughter, “No sweetheart, that’s a girl and they’re not cheese, they are a foreign rat.” I looked at her and yelled in my best “Texas” accent “Well Ma’am! I am very sorry, but I am a boy and I am not a rat”She gave me this ‘I’m going to kill you look’ and started walking away. As she was walking away she said “Go back to your county you filthy animal.” A man working at the store heard her and walked over to her. He looked to be from the Philippines. He said politely, “Discrimination is not excepted here.” And she started yelling and him, and ended up getting kicked out. It was awful herring someone say to go back to my country, because we left Switzerland due to issues at my old school regarding my transgender issues. Damn, people can be awful.

@@scepan5155 Typical bonehead American response. So many African nations have been on an upward rise for the past decade. Those nations being: Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Namibia, Egypt... I can go on and on but of course, your thickheadedness will continue to make baseless assumptions on nothing in particular when you literally have the internet at your fingertips to get clarification on these things. Plus, Lybia was destabilized by the United States meddling with their affairs, (something the US does _constantly_ to Latin American and African countries).
