The unemployment figures in the UK are a subtle mix of creative accounting leading to lying. By steadily discounting more and more groups within the unemployed the government has been able to report low unemployment figures (which makes their old voters happy) yet all the while they have destroyed the economy and country and the growing numbers of jobless claimants has risen therefore they have to fudge these too, discounting people from being able to claim and therefore casting them out of the societal safety net, and then reduce the payments made to those that are still covered.

I'm going to tell you why. Mostly those people are coming as students. The students pay a shed load of money to come and study here some students if you talk to them you can tell in the nicest possible way they aren't very bright. So they extract money from these people they fail they try to apply for a different visa paying the home office and fail. They have to return or they pass but the job criteria is impossible and back they go. Sunak also wants to appease India one of their conditions is making it easier for Indians to come to the UK.

Didn't Sunak do a similar thing at PMQs yesterday ? When Starmer quoted statistics on homeless families going up, Sunak responded with statistics about Rough Sleepers having come down. Those 2 are often conflated because most people think homeless means on the streets. In the UK over 99% of homeless people are provided somewhere to sleep so they are not on the streets. The number of actual rough sleepers is very low. Something like 2000 out of 60 million.

The function of Civil Servants is to be objective, impartial, honest and to behave with integrity. ‘Their careers on the line’ is suggesting that they put their professional status above governmental demands…that is to over simplify the situation…their whole raison d’être is to be the conscience of government. The growth of the use of SpAds (special advisers) by PMs, No 10 and government over the last 15 years has seriously impacted the way in which government gets its information. SpAds by definition are NOT Civil Servants, they are not bound by the Civil Service Code and can be politically biased, act as advocates for none government interests and essentially be lobbyists. The processes of government have been undermined and debased by successive administrations to the point where jingoism and bigotry are rife. It’s appalling!

Stop saying Romania (and typing it in your video description as well)... Albania isn't the same as Romania. The hate on Romanians has moved on now that we're outside of EU. As someone who talks about politics all the time you'd think you'd be able to make the difference.
